Hey I got my first calling out 👍, looks like you're going after the IMPREZAs. If you'd like to battle, I'd like to start taking practicing other courses besides my own more seriously. If you'd like to pick a course I can download, we can set up a race. I mostly play EST from 4pm to 10pm. I'm kinda stuck going into a course I've never raced, end up playing it at night (Yes Initial I have a TV from 1990,but its a 52inch heh), and end up losing because I just don't have proper preparation time.

Well just had my race with Solidsnake.
Run 1
I lead and he crashes at turn 1. Then he asked to redo the battle and i said no. Im assuming there's no restart yeah? Thats why we are racing with heavy damage and what not.
Anyway..
Run2
He leads and i overtake and go on to win by 28seconds.
Not much else to say really.
Anyone else up for a race?

decided to join up. was going to use my AE86 but after seeing the list of cars, i was severely under-powered, upgrading would've upset the balance of the tune and make the car slower going everywhere sideways. I also wanted to avoid the cliche of a jdm car and decided euro would be best choice. i just hope it can keep up.

I'm going to be out tonight. But I'll try get everyone's standing up to scratch. If someone can collect the post numbers to enter, that'll be great. From the last updated list. I won't update the change in cars though, that becomes too messy at the moment, will clear that up and get it ready for season 1.
Also, if I can get some one to proof read post #1-3 it'll be great. Someone new might just get lost when thy see this thread, give me some suggestions to improve the front page. Thanks.

Just a suggestion if you are waiting for a challanger - post the room number you have opned so that people can join and not to spam the thread with one sentence messages. And that way you do not need to add everyone on to the friend list.
Btw.- there is a thread for posting Touge room numbers so you can use that. TOSS

Had a very clean run against Stav. in his GTO. We practice around my home track until we were ready and battled in the dark.

He led the first run and I stayed tight behind through the 5.35 mile Sendon. The gap never opened up past a couple seconds and I kept up to the end.
Second run Monstar followed in his STi. He had better entry so he was constantly right behind me. There's a portion of Sendon that has the maximum width of track; it's about 3/4's of the way through the road and I included it as a passing opportunity. It went to full use in this battle. We went side-by-side through it at one point but I gave him just enough room and we just feather-like hardly rubbed sides through but I was able to hold my lead once the road quickly narrowed. I swear we generated a statick shock with how close we got to each other but didn't touch. Big ups to staying clean for that.
Third run. We decided to let me lead again and went all out for the sudden death on bad tires.
I started to pull a slight lead on him as we ran our way through the first quarter of the track but he was able to close the gap and we ran as before, very closely, through out the rest. When we got up to the final sector of the course I lost my rythym and went slightly off track going uphill to the sector hut. Monstar was able to pass but then hit the wall right in front of me. We both recovered quickly and finished the last few corners of Sendon to my finishing half a second behind him.
Close race, real fun, clean driver, looking forward to a rematch

Edit: LOL, sorry, had to edit out my name 'cause I copied and pasted it from the first battle. I described Monstar as winning in the little report but forgot to change the winner name.

The track we ran was Sendon2. I'm sticking with the original Sendon to use as my home course. It's a much more challenging Toscana course that runs anti-clockwise. I'm putting it online right now.
I like running hotlaps on Sendon2 but I realized that during a battle those ridiculous rollercoaster style downhill turns aren't really good for racing so I'm throwing the track out.
Sendon(1) has a lot better flow, has some interesting corners I've never seen on any other course and runs counter-clockwise so that's always different.
Also I think I'm gonna run a yellow WRX once the full season starts as it's the car I have in real life. I only chose to run the Skyline 'cause, to be honest, I watched Project D race Team Purple Shadow and just love the way godfoot drives xD.
btw, so you guys know, I dropped the Roadster 'cause I just could not get it tuned to be fast. AWD's a lot better at 500pp than rear. I could only get close to my Skyline times with the Spirit R FD

Yes, I've currently been unofficially running my yellow, blue, red, black and white WRX STI Spec C RAs online for testing against you guys. I'm very tempted to sign up to this but I just can't commit myself to the events as I'm only online due to holidays. I'm up for unofficial practice battles anyway, but I can't sign up right now.

you should just join, and battle when you can.... the best thing about this series is that you don't have to commit to a certain time when everyone is online... just see which 'rival' is online and battle it out 1 on 1!!
