On horsefish pass I got 3:15.7xx in my Elise I think that is the record there

One thing about Night is he almost never wrecks, he is very consistant, although he might need to work on his set-up to improve lap times.

Confirmed. It was the NSX-R vs NSX-R battle. I was leading for the first round and on a corner, I pushed the car too hard. I almost spun out and sustained damage. From there, he overtook me and started widening the gap. Very good driver and that NSX is amazing.

Well, I was leading for the first round and from the first corner, I started to widen the gap. I won by a 9sec. lead. Still, Night is a very cool guy, and a good driver. The PP difference was in my favor I guess. Also, this battle happened before my battle with InitialR, so it pumped my confidence, only to be shattered by InitialR a little later. xD

Yeah the elise is still running great, albeit the engine is still running in so thats a bit of a nuisance having to lower the HP to match the PP limit.
Which track is the 4.10 on, I got a 3:34.932 flying lap on Ushimine but hopefully i'll break the record tomorrow.

I got a 4.10 on my home track Hollows Edge Road (the track everybody hates lol)

Hey guys I've been doing a lot of practicing and work in real life. I want to get back into the battling but I am having a hard time coping with racing at night. I still want a rematch with InitialR and to battle MONSTAR, but now I am trying to just straight time attack with my new project car for season one (Im using an IMPREZA 22b, and my new car beats my record on my own track by 5 seconds, so far). Are you really sure about this? How did you test this? There are many different things that can contribute to such a small difference in cornering speed, so I am curious as to how you would perform such an experiment.

I tried it with my Z34 in practice mode

I hope the league sticks around too bro, I met alot of good clean racers in here. And really it hasnt even began! Its all in the setup of the car and how well you know the track. I used to run the same setup on all the tracks now Im starting race with track specific tunes, and my lap times are dropping, but its important to get a good base tune down first. Build on that base tune and always return to note the differences.

@ TakumiFuji01 I just missed you bro, I should be on later if your still down to take ur revenge haha, but I must warn you my speed has increased since the last time we raced. you want to race on my home track this time or...

Also, this battle happened before my battle with InitialR, so it pumped my confidence, only to be shattered by InitialR a little later. xD

You were doing really good until disaster struck. Cant wait for the rematch.

Well, comments like this is what keeps me going!! But really so far I'll like to thank all the players on the Rival's list! without you guys, this won't happen.

Also thanks for respecting each other and not being too arrogant. So far, I think we've all build a somewhat good relationship and really have a great attitude here!

One thing I appreciate the most as a host of this series is your ability to respect my decisions made for the series. It's easy to to rant about how things should have been done and stuff and create drama.

I always try to get the community feedback but at the same time try to cater for the needs of different groups, thinking of ways to achieve them. Clearly this has attacted many different racers of different calibre. And the thing is to keep a good balance between the competativeness and the enjoyability. Respect is crucial here. If a top notch player plays down a lower level player, it really turns off the people and in turn will create 'drama'.

I've got a few ideas up my sleeve at the moment, but I'll reveal them when the time comes.

I think that for some players, they would like to know how much extra EXP you gain from having lower pp. PArt of any players strategy may include setting a specific pp amount. Not saying my strategy includes this, but maybe if I knew how much -pp gain give you in EXP, I may consider using less pp. Right now I'm just trying to blast the most pp possible. I would like to maybe have one car at 500pp, or maybe a 450 or 475, so when I play others with a lower win ratio I can take a gamble with a slower car to gain more xp if I win.

I sneaked the win on the first round by increasing the gap to 3.5 seconds but InitialR barely had time to practice and he then proceeded to crush my best lap by a second and defeat me in our unofficial rematch. Good fun 👍

I won't reveal the full calculation until the end of season 1. Cause it's flawed and experimental.

But it's something like this:

Win points = 200 points + (level difference bonus) + (PP difference) + (win streak bonus)

Loss points = 75 points + (level difference bonus)

Also at season 1, each player can only have one car and fixed PP. So you won't have that option to use a lower PP car.

Also I'm not worried about the spec c cause I raced turbolag in his spec c and bet him. I might even use the spec c in season 1. Not too sure yet. I have my Rex tune well but I'm thinking the spec c is faster for some reason. So I'm looking at you buddy for a battle lol.

Just read the rules and regulations in green text on Post #2. And then submit your vehicle and battle your opponents when you see them online. Read also the battle styles as well.

Easy as that.
