*coughs*86 GT is 2000cc*coughs* :D

Anyway, the limit raise is a good idea for the C class, but only by 200cc, because most of the proper cars I would use like the Silvia with all of its versions and most MX5's are 1800cc (I think, because Im on a ship right now and can't check it in GT5 :D)

But to raise the limit to 2000cc would be a little overboard, because *cough* 86 GT *cough*, although this is only an opinion.

Also, Timber, you're getting more active by the minute, any chance of seeing you in the next seasons?

Ok, the first posts of the first page should explain ALL of LotS to you, from racing types to racing reports. But here are some other tips as well.

-If you want to challenge someone, we usually run lobbies on Toscana(Tarmac) that have LotS in the lobby name. We usually are in those servers, but mostly people come on in the evening, around 8pm or so Eastern time/4am UK time/12pm Australian time (Although this is only for the Americans, calculate the times Europeans and Aussies are on yourself. Also, this is based on logical assumption)

-When you've actually found someone that's in the rival's list, just say that you want to race him officially, set up the battle rules and you're good to go!
--On a side note, ALWAYS practice the track, extensively if you need to, before battling. There are only a few people even in the regulars list that can do 2-3 laps on a track they have encountered the first time AND still give up a good match.

-Choose a car that YOU are comfortable with. Of course you have to figure in speed, handling and tire wear, but let's face it, you would rather drive a "slow" car that you like and know you're good with, than drive a "fast" car that you dont like or feel comfortable driving. There are cars like that, don't judge me.

-And finally, remember to have fun while you're racing other drivers. It's not all about winning. If you have an epic battle running 10+ rounds of pure, un-adult rated racing madness, you stop caring about the fact who won, but you always remember that super-long and super-fun battle.

There. That should cover everything a newcomer to Legend of the Streets should know. And as always, I hope you find LotS entertaining and "may the odds be ever in your favour."

Weird. First race I've been in where A and B class go head to head. My 435pp FTO vs his 500pp EK9. His pp was unknown to me at the moment but seemed even. I lead and extended the gap to 5 secs. Good run nonetheless.

Manged to pass the EK9 later than i thought even if i was sideways :) Pulled away to a 11 second gap before snooky pulled out of the battle.

Hi guys, over the weekend, I came up with a new battle mode. I'll call it Outrun.

It goes like this. There will be 2 rounds (not laps). The standard rolling start applies. The two rivals will go head to head like normal. The winning condition is the same.

The only difference will be at the end of the lap, the rivals won't swap position. The battle will continue until the gap is archived or is overtaken. Then that result will be the benchmark going into round 2.

Then at round 2, the rivals will go into the pit/restart race, and swap racing positions. The rival will have to finish the race before reaching the benchmark from round 1.

Rival A = Leading in round 1, Chasing in round 2.
Rival B = Chasing in round 1, Leading in round 2.

Eg 1. Let's say in round 1. Rival A managed to increase the gap by lap 3. In order for Rival B to tie, he must increase the gap also by lap 3 in round 2. If he can't do that by lap 3, he will lose. If he manage to increase the gap at the end of lap 2, rival B wins. If Rival A manage to overtake Rival B before the end of lap 3, he will get a KO win.

Eg 2. Let's say in round 1. Rival B managed to overtake Rival A in lap 3. In order for Rival A to tie, he must overtake Rival B before the end of lap 3. If he overtakes before end of lap 2, Rival A will win.

This mode may be more applicable to Mt. Aso/Karting custom tracks. Let me know what you guys think?

That sounds like an awesome type of race to do, we should definitely try it.

Outrun sounds fun!
Asahi Pass would be a great track to try this out. I'll be home within an hour or 2 if anyone wants to try this new mode...I'll be hosting a lobby.

I might be joining you.

I got an idea about a variation of outrun challenge. How about gap can be acheived per sector rather than the end of laps.

That's definitely doable. Just worried that it becomes hard to track when the battle is pretty much prolonged.

There's another problem with the Outrun Mode, Most of the time sector gap do not show so you can judge how far ahead you are :(

Yeah, I noticed that. Especially if you're under 3s.

Sorry I forgot to post my result from yesterday..

Wynter took off at the start and braked too late at the first hairpin and I stood back to give him a fighting chance. I was tailgating most of the race with a few attempts to pass from the inside and out, but he did a good job of blocking my line. So, I waited for the perfect moment for him to open a door for me and he under steered on a hairpin giving me the chance to make a clean pass towards the end of the track.

Edit: BTW I like the Outrun idea. Has a similarity of Hot Versions battle style 👍

I died when I saw this, but cool cool I got awards:)

Hey have any of you ever tried a battle type called burnout? you burn out your tires to have no grip and gap is 5 sec and who ever hits wall first loses.
