Hey guys,
I'd really like to get involved here. I've read through the thread and think the whole idea is great! I'm not a particularly good driver, but I'm always trying to improve, and none of my friends are even on for me to run with anyway.
I'm looking for some good driving fun and a way to improve my abilities. Signed up today especially to post here and try to get involved.

@Slender is it possible to change cars before the season starts? I may change my B Class car, not too sure though. I'm asking just in case.

Thanks! I'll have to keep an eye out for rooms. I work evenings at the weekends, so I'm only usually free during the week in the evenings. I'll be more free in the summer, so just a few more weeks.
I guess I just need to get better at driving, I'm not confident entering just yet, unless maybe it's the best idea to just jump in the deep end and give it a go?

Don't let fear of not keeping up keep you from competing. We have drivers of all skills participating, and you can not get better from practice and more practice. That, and seeing how a more experienced driver takes the course will help you learn as well. To the best of my knowledge, all of us here at LotS are a helpful bunch and would assist newcomers to settling into the rhythm of things.

Thanks a lot guys! I'm feeling a bit more confident about it now. I'll get a car put together I'd like to use when I get home from work tonight and hopefully in the week someone could do some practice runs with me? I'll try and make a quick choice so I can get entered here and try to get really involved

If I weren't at work or getting up early tomorrow I'd be right there. I'll continue car hunting and practicing until someone will be on with a room the same time as me

I know this is a double post, but still. My car as it sits is at 458PP. Would it be better to define it to 450 and enter the B-class? Looking at the list I feel I will be easily outclassed for A-class and should use a different car if I want to enter the A class as well? Thanks for any help.

It all depends on your confidence in your ride. I'm entering a 465pp DC5 for A class and know it has the possibility to be competitive. If you feel it can compete in A, go for it, if not lower it a bit. It's up to you.

I haven't competed before, so I'm not too confident an online driver. I tink I'll detune her just a little, and may e just enter class B until I get the hang of things. Thanks.

80k is alot. I usually use a max of 50k. Well, does the limit include the car?
