A lot of things gone wrong here.

We all know Course Maker is basically the start of LoTS, as said before Exo hasn't participated in any of the classes like S-C. We had a Purist Test Session, so participating is key. Making Classes like Class l and ll have not been answered by the LoTS Admin (Blur).

I just wouldn't change the Regulations because we tested them during GT5's Track Creator, and if we change it. It will not be as good as the original regulations.

I'm one of the old group and can't believe the juvenile bickering over how it is and has been for what, 10 seasons now. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

If you want a team battle have a team battle, record the results and submit it for points, but the next day when your teammate capitalizes on a weakness he noticed don't get butt hurt cause your #2 or 3 beats you
 
I've been off and on with LotS due to commitment to University and the regulations are fine, members and admins have made adjustments when the league has needed it and it runs fine as is and most people get on with it.

Also Exodus, I hope that you remind your participants to at least race respectfully on the touge, unless everyone in your rooms are trying to be like Shinigami and hit people off track.

I know various regs in there that race every now and then I find it troubling how you preach stuff from ID and all the episodes and scenes or whatever. Most of your accomplices/friends find it fine to give others in the room easily a few nudges here and there, rubbing is racing but when it happens repeatedly it gets pretty annoying.

Not to have a pot shot at what you're trying to do, but I'm basing this on personal experiences from your rooms you host and you really need to knuckle down on racing incidents that occur out on whatever track you run, whether it be a racing stewart or something that can work.

If you can try some of my advice in your rooms, I'm sure they will run a lot smoother.

A simple solution to that is to run official LotS room settings. (e.g.: Heavy Damage)

Personally, I don't host rooms over 8 people anymore because I prefer to run with a smaller group of more experienced, disciplined drivers. Even if just casually.

I know I'm guilty of bumping sometimes by accident. It's beginning to happen less though the more I practice. I try to be a respectful driver but my novice skill doesn't allow it sometimes but I'll slow down and wait for you if that does occur. Hope to drive with everyone soon :) heavy damage works wonders too when learning how to control your car xD. Gt6 got my hopes up this morning, thought cc was here but it was hotfixes. Booo

This 🤬 really needs to stop, for starters most of the guys from that crew who I play with are barely able to get around the track faster then me and my friend in that room :lol:

Not saying a lot, but considering most of those people are on that game pretty much 24/7 and you're only one upping me when we make mistakes over a 20km track over 1 lap races, which is bound to happen.

Sorry but these people will get it coming to them, and unfortunately the Pandora's box of excuses will be opened whenever they lose.

Pretty disappointing that these people are trying to link themselves to LotS when they clearly can't say banter to people's faces.

Hey look, bumps are gonna happen and its inevitable, act respectfully on the track and don't hit people all the time and we will all have a great LotS experience 👍
 
I'm really psyched to see the Wangan Masters League make a comeback. Never was a part of the GT5 League, and the last thing I've done up that vein was playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer, but all I've been doing lately since hearing about it was setting up a handful of cars for WM. Honestly curious to see how I stack up.

I think it's more so the fact that group wants to take credit for everything they put into LotS.

He talks about all this purist lobby and different classes into the league, all good but I'm sure they'll chuck a hissy fit if they don't get more exposure by however means and we use their ideas.

Best thing to do is figure this out with those who play regularly, myself maybe not included since I haven't participated in this for awhile but I would prefer members and admins of this league to decide collectively on what shall happen when we can roll out the core season.

I'll tell you in a lobby. This pic is from someone who sent it to me over PSN. I said it once and I'll say it again, I just want to drive in peace till course creator comes out.
 
The Purist class was originally created by myself with the input of @optomuscrime

It was simply 460PP-CS without any limit on tuning. Meaning we were running custom gearboxes. It was balanced greatly, and even with flip tricks you couldn't exploit the class because you can only go as fast as the tires allowed. Those crazy acceleration you see on higher grade tires weren't a factor because CS breaks traction much easier. Even 4WD lost its dominance because they were weaker in the corners.

It wasn't supposed to be as limited as the Barebones Purist that was taken up here... Y'know, I like that name, Barebones Class.

The whole Battle Stage format was a concept that I alone brought into LotS, introduced via seeded bracket tournaments which I ran regularly.

But I don't ask for praise or credit for it. All I ever wanted was for the community to accept those formats and have fun with them.

Does anyone know who I can get in contact with to ask about moving the Wangan thread from the GT5 section to the GT6 section? Or should I simply make another thread?

I'm glad to see there's interest brewing for Wangan. Tomorrow is when I'll be able to get on a PC and have everything ready.

If you look at the old thread, you can see all the room settings and updated scoring system. And YES, the Wangan Masters Tournament does have a team battle scoring prerogative.

The signup form is already active but needs to be updated for the new classes. That is what I'm planning to do tomorrow. So that people can sign up and begin battling by Monday.

My favorite aspect of the Wangan tournament is that the Final Battle isn't a 1v1. Instead, it's a 3-way duel between top 3 drivers on the season. Just like the Finale of the Wangan anime.

the 2 classes used to be 600PP and 550PP, and that had worked great before. But to have a more varied competition, I did away with the 550PP class.

In its place is the new Midnight Club class. An homage to the original Midnight Club of Japan street racers, in which your car was admitted if able to reach 161mph/260kph on public road. Even though most of the cars tuned in this class should be topping out just over 200mph.

As for the Masters class. That's where the big boys come out to play. The 800hp monsters!! Porsches, Skylines, Corvettes and everything in between. These cars are running at speeds in excess of 230mph at SSR7, topping out over 250 in the tunnel.

The adrenaline really rushes going so fast with the threat of heavy damage being all too imminent.

EXCITING!!

There are a number of cars banned from partaking in the Wangan tournament, and regulations to keep in mind. No tuner, concept or race cars. TVR Speed 12 is mega banned!!

My favorite part of touge, feeling your heart as you're on someone's bumper waiting for the perfect opportunity to pass them. No other feeling like that. We should organize a real life lots lobby rofl
 
In no way shape or form do i agree with the words said by craft. He will be dealt with in a timely fashion. I do not promote aggression nor do i tolerate his actions. I sincerely apology Furious Dragons an for all my members of F.D we are not about the hate that he has did.
 
It was with a heavy heart that i have decided to ban Craft from all Furious Dragons lobbies. An he is no longer in Furious Dragons. My apologies again to CG
 
Right i have taken it in to my own hands to sort all this annoyance out between FD's and LotS.
The first action of Craft's actions towards CG has been resolved (I hope) and an apology has been accepted by CG.
Due to this being resolved i would like to kindly ask for the photo a few posts up to be removed from the thread.
CG has politely said he wishes to be at peace until Track creator is out and i would like both sides to respect his request.

Second action which is Snake vs Exo i have already put into action...
 
My most humble apologies for all the disrespect flying around. I will no longer tolerate hate in my crew or projected on to LotS members. Snake i am sorry but no more anger hate or pi$$ing contests. We are a family an its time we act like it. Cause we will benefit LotS more if we worked together then against eachother
