I'm quite the grammar nazi myself. Blocks of text go against everything I stand for lol.

@ExodusFury why not try your hand out at some Wangan? The competition is open and there is a team/crew incentive (read the fine print first)

@ExodusFury the Wangan scene isn't for everyone. Some people haven't the nerve to finish a lap around SSR7 - blasting at speeds over 220mph - without touching the walls or EACH OTHER.

You call it a drag race, but it's more than that.

I like both Initial D and Wangan Midnight, whats wrong with that?

Anyways, I'll be on GT6 at the end of the week so hopefully I can find a room to verse people in.

I still haven't encountered this 'crew' that's all over the touge, oh well.

No use beating on a dead horse.

That being said, I probably won't be able to update the Wangan Leaderboards tonight (but I will, as soon as possible).

The reason being that I'm taking a train ride across the Hudson river after work to pick up the newest member of the family... 1989 BMW 635 CSi (E24)!!

@ExodusFury

First off, I can throw anyone's name around as I please because there's nothing wrong with that. I'm not slandering, name-calling, or otherwise.

I'll reiterate the above post so you can understand me, guy.

I'm INVITING you and your crew to the Wangan Masters Tournament.

Why?

Well, I've set up that league so that TEAMS and CREWS, as well as INDIVIDUALS, can join and have fun with maximum tunes in a regulated competitive environment.

If you don't want to, makes no difference to me. But one of your guys if already signed up as well as other crews. And here, there IS an incentive to rep your crew because there is a TEAM title on the line along with the individual championship.

-----

Like @Stavingo and @TimberW have said. LOTS is geared towards the individuals, competitively speaking. Crews organize independently. Always have and always will until a team incentive is adopted for LOTS.

There are many of us here that are a part of a team/crew. Yet nobody even speaks of it. Except you, and lately anybody that complains about YOUR guys. But that's the dead house we've been beating on. So let's drop it collectively, please. Everyone.

-----

Exo. I don't like you and you don't like me. Big deal. Get over it.

I'm posting publicly that's it's done. No more.

And when posting here, please keep it ON-TOPIC. Meaning no more crew business.

Feel free to post lobby numbers and event dates or whatever. But leave the crew stuff out of the posts.

-----

If anyone has any grievances with me, feel free to post publicly and tag my name @SolidSnake7735

Hey guys, I've been wanting to start a story in the race reports section set in the initial D universe, and I'm wondering if you guys can help with characters+ cars selection. So if everyone could leave a suggestion, it would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you trynna use the same characters from the show or original ones?

Could always try something like what Wynter did with his stories, loosely based on LOTS characters and battles.

Sounds fun. Dibs on making an appearance with my FC3S. Ryosuke vs the new FC3S challenger. Hehe that was one thing i wouldve loved to see. FC vs FC

League challenge. 450pp SH AE86 vs my FC3S 450pp SH / 3Rounds on Sierra reverse. Bring any AE86 and run me reverse. Im bored an need something to do and this is it. So take it or leave it. I figured it'd be a great way to honor Ryosuke an Takumi an the pride of FC's and AE86's and it the downhill too. So come one come all an enjoy the best course we got. Make sure you bring your AE86 ( you can use the Levin or Sprinter or S.S ) just have to run against my FC3S on the downhill. Looking forward to it. Message me on PSN for full details Exodus-Fury89
Mind starting up a new thread instead of relying on LotS to see your posts? Getting annoying -_-

Nailed it.

How many times do we have to explain it to this guy? :odd:

...losing count.
It's not that hard to make friends online... is it?

All jokes aside, though. Look what I did!

Things were slow here, so I started up the Wangan leage again, yay!
At least there's some form of organized, regulated, street racing to be had.
It may not be Touge, but it's in the same spirit.

-----

I should be getting my things brought up to me from ATL this weekend.
So I should be back online soon! I can't wait to run the Wangan with the fellas.

:gtpflag:

Should have a mixed event of Wangan and Touge, then everybody is happy :D

Hmm. That sound interesting. How would it be done?

-----

It would be sweet to see more crews/teams sign up for the Wangan, since there's a team title on the line. Of course, always read the fine print, hehe.

You tell me  But I would love to see how a Wangan car would go at La Sierra.

I'm sure they'd fare well. I've ran plenty of super cars there and had lots of fun. Though you wouldn't be able to let those maximum tuned breathe freely on that track.

S Class touge cars are definitely a challenge at Sierra. Especially on Hard compound tires, you're almost always going too fast.

Bathurst maybe, or good ol nurb. Would be cool to see blackbird on the touge, but other than slender and vacaseg doubt anyone could pull it off cleanly if it was wangan spec

I've driven my Wangan Blackbird at the Nordschleife. Helped fine-tune the low gears there for handling and stability. More often than not, I'm just cruising.

It's a lot different, on a very technical course, running an 800hp Porsche or R33 than a similarly spec'd 458 Italia or MP4-12C.

-----

Personally, I prefer a spirited drive over a full-on race in high-powered cars on the Touge. Y'know, enjoy the ride.

As for the mid-to-low power cars, I love pushing them to the limits.

There's just something very special about modern super cars on twisty courses. Driving them at 50% capacity, single-lane, in high gear; then suddenly shifting down to 3rd from 5th and mashing the gas to pass and initiate a chase. Nirvana!

Absolute power corrupts absolutely!

Well my router just died and now I have now online play for the next 3 to 5 working days until sky send out the new higher spec router...

*overly dramatic voice*
NOOOOOOOOO!!!

(Quick, everyone! Now's your chance to rack up Wangan points before it becomes impossible again. Hehe)

Man I'm missing my Internet. Really wanting to get into the wangan league. My z31 was ready for it.

I know those feels. I have internet where I'm at currently but no PS3. So Zafiro and Blackbird lie in wasting. But that will change soon (over the weekend).

Though, I don't know how much time I'll be spending on GT these days. I'm gonna be spending most of my off-work time working on my real-life project car.

Say hello to my little friend!

My first ever project car. I've always driven Hondas in the family, although BMW's have also been present. Two of my older brother have had 5 and 7 series cars but their lack of knowledge in general maintenance hurt their pockets and always went back to Honda/Acura.

Living in NYC, I'm not really looking into a super lightweight, touge build. More like a no-nonsense Grand Tourer (Gran Turismo... see what I did there?)

...and for $500USD, so much potential!

Guess you'll need some E32 parts

Guess you'll need some E32 parts

E24 actually. It shares a lot of components with the E28 5-series. But the body itself if much rarer. Only 82,*** oh these were ever made from '76-'89. And they only started coming to America in '83, if I'm not mistaken.

First thing's first. Head gasket and full-on timing tune-up. High-performance ignition and cooling system upgrades.

What do you and your boys have laying around? @che69velle

Love it when your internet provider says they will send you your £70 router for free within the next 5 - 7 days, And low and behold less then 48 hours later is arrives at your door!!! Epic win

Other than Jorge building those E92 V8s for his E36 drifter and small incidental mods laying around, I'm not sure. What are you looking for?
