Got me. Ouch. I saw Pikes Peak and ran with it. I'll suspend myself for a bit. Sorry folks.
Join the club. Some cars I'm just going to let go. Like this latest McLaren. I already own the '97 version and it's really nothing special. It's good, but the Group C cars all destroy it in a race, so it's not worth it IMO. I would rather build my credits up and wait for something really worth the money, or spend it on possible invitation cars. The last one I need is Ferrari and there are 3 cars totalling 8.7M credits. If I get that invite, I don't want to have to grind until the early morning hours to get the credits to buy these while other good Legendary cars come to the dealer.Hagerty's is bleeding me dry at the moment. In the last couple of weeks I've bought:
Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone BAT 1 - 1,000,000
BMW McLaren F1 GTR '97 - 10,300,000
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Racer Concept - 4,000,000
Ferrari GTO '84 - 3,550,000
Lamborghini Miura P400 - 3,500,000
Sauber Mercedes C9 - 3,000,000
That's 25,350,000 credits...
And I'm still to buy in the next few days:
Ford GT40 Mark 1 - 6,700,000
McLaren F1 GTR '95 - 11,400,000
Another 18,100,000 credits... in the space of like a month. That's the equivalent of 60 runs at Sardegna, approximately 26 hours worth of driving... FML.
And I don't own a single 20 mil car yet...
I have the '97 F1 as well, but that's a Gr.2 car. I'm keen to get the '95 as that's the Gr.3 car... Not that car groups are that important with the PP system in place, but hey!Join the club. We all misread things from time to time. Hurry back.Got me. Ouch. I saw Pikes Peak and ran with it. I'll suspend myself for a bit. Sorry folks.
Can I ask what the version was in GT Sport then as I am sure it's the same prototype but it came in a selection of colours IIRC?Yes, because it’s a specific concept version of the MiuraD
It is the same version in GTS and only came in the prototype color. Can I ask what the version was in GT Sport then as I am sure it's the same prototype but it came in a selection of colours IIRC?
Ok fair enough, strange I have a Lime Green one and no it was not repainted, gonna look into that with my old videos, must have repainted it but I don't know why the saved livery is not there. It is the same version in GTS and only came in the prototype color.
All you need to do is go to the dealership and you will see that it is only available in the prototype color!Ok fair enough, strange I have a Lime Green one and no it was not repainted, gonna look into that with my old videos, must have repainted it but I don't know why the saved livery is not there.
Its available now.I thought that this is time for Mercedes-Benz S Barker Tourer '29, but it seems not... Another one to wait, but still one day it appears, invitations from car dealers are way worse to get
The Skyline GT500 still isnt there though. 😭IIRC that car should be the next one or the one after the next car to show up as it's always in the dealer when the F1 GTR 95 is.
Bought it last night its a nice little race car and today I bought the Porsche 356 A/1500 GS GT Carrera Speedster 1956 its so cute did a few laps with it and its a wonderful car well worth my 1.5m credits.Alpine A220 Race Car is back, if anyone is interested.
Its a wonderful car I was thinking on buying a second one but I still have so many cars I haven't bought yet.Grinding to buy THAT McLaren!! How expensive 😂 j am at 8.5 mil! Still 5 to go 😂
I used it for the Le Mans 700, I run mine with RH tires but it handles really well on a stock setup and IMO is the best handling out of the 60s GT cars when compared to the GT40s, 330 P4 .etcReally thinking about picking up the Alpine. How is it to drive?
It is excellent and a bargain. Performs as well as or better than the GT40’s, XJ-13, and similar cars that cost many times more. Although the description mentions it being used in Rally but you can’t buy dirt tires.Really thinking about picking up the Alpine. How is it to drive?
If you ask me, best sound car in the gameReally thinking about picking up the Alpine. How is it to drive?
Just wait until they drop all the 20 mil cars at once again!Hagerty's is bleeding me dry at the moment. In the last couple of weeks I've bought:

It did a single Criterium race on asphalt road in that configuration.Although the description mentions it being used in Rally but you can’t buy dirt tires.
Alsace (1Hour Endurance) Human ComedyThe historic cars are usually the most interesting so I bought the Alpine straight away, especially since it's cheap and think I've seen it reccomended somewhere for one of the events (can anyone remember which one?)
Good choices but also don't sleep on the Jaguar XJR-9 1988 its a great car right up there with those two both and handling and speed and (IMHO) it sounds better then the 787B also has great fuel efficiency I almost did the 1 hour of spa race no pit stop a few days ago with the jag. Will the 787B or R92CP cars again appear here? My bad as I didn't buy the 787B car from here as it was available here couple of weeks back.
I need to complete Menu 43 for which one of the 2 cars mentioned above would be ideal. I hope I can get a chance to buy them again.
I agree with you on the Jaguar but as of now that's not available too in the historic garage to buy.Good choices but also don't sleep on the Jaguar XJR-9 1988 its a great car right up there with those two both and handling and speed and (IMHO) it sounds better then the 787B also has great fuel efficiency I almost did the 1 hour of spa race no pit stop a few days ago with the jag.
Overall its become my favorite group c car.
