hey all,

what is the best 'grind' for cash?

I have done the 24hrs Le Man, 30minute race which gives 825,000 credits as long as you keep it clean, which is quite easy actually.

Is there a better one?

Sardegna: not sure if it's possible to lose the clean race bonus there
Tokyo: more "efficient" in terms of credits/hour, but much higher risk to lose the clean race bonus
Why in the Heck are we discussing grind races in the Legendary Car Dealership thread?

Anyone know when the Mclaren F1 GTR might return?
Which one?

Considering the LongTail '97 was just available last week, you have about 3 months before that one cycles back around. The ShortTail '95 car is probably another month away, as it was last available in mid May.

Didn't you get the memo? Every thread on GT Planet's GT7 forum must eventually eventually devolve into grinding strategies, car/track wish lists, or general complaints about how Kaz is out of touch and how Forza/older-GTs/iRacing/ACC/etc. is an infinitely better game that GT7 in every regard.

Until another one gets added.
Well, yes but all the current LCD cars are all purchased as of now. No more waiting to see when the next car I need will come up. No more endless grinding to get 20M credits in the bank for the next unicorn car to arrive. That's all done. Now I just need to buy the remaining VGT cars and I will own them all.

My only "double" car I own is the Boss 429. It's a beast in the Tokyo 600, especially as a widebody. I bought a second one because I want to keep it to mild mods and a standard body for some John Wick hooligan driving on Grand Valley Highway.

Picked up a second F40 to Enzofy it.

The F40Enzo is a little quicker than the F40 when tuned to within.5 PP.

My results at Interlagos HyperCar Race. Same suspension, transmission, LSD, and aero settings. Both were clean races, in P1 before lap 3, and caught the last place car when crossing the finish line.

F40Enzo fastest lap was 3 seconds faster and finished 7 seconds ahead of the F40 total time.

F40 sounds better imo but that turbo lag is very noticeable compared to the NA Enzo engine.

Is it worth 3M plus engine if you don’t already have one like I did? You decide.

Yeah, I've debated buying a second one for the engine swap, but I feel like 4M+ for a second one isn't really worth it. That same money pretty much buys you the new Aston Valkyrie which will slaughter the engine swapped F40.

Edit: Also, I noticed that when the engine is swapped the car still has the original engine in the back. Strange that PD didn't adjust the look of the car with the engine swap done. They do the brakes when you replace them. The aero, of course, gets done. The roll cage goes in. The exhaust changes, etc. But the exposed engine doesn't change with the swap. Seems like a brain fart by them.
