At 400pp you just need the right car and a few tweaks to the LSD, suspension and transmission.

Update ran in lounge 5laps heavy damage... Best lap 2'14.9xx. Im sure the straight its killing me vs quicker bugs but hopefully I can draft till they inevitably crash into penultimate corner.

Have you seen the amount of toe they put on their "tunes" ? I've seen so many "tunes" in that forum written by what appears as someone who has no concept of how a car works. Besides the fact that, what works for one, won't neccessarily work for another.

P.S. I'm out. Can't find the motivation to tune on a car I can't stand with tires that don't grip. Not to mention fighting GT5 just to get into my lounge to do it.

Car shared, sorry for tardiness.
Only mod is the height adjustable suspension. (cuz that's all I can afford)
Edit: Awful racing conditions. Could only hold 70mph on the long curve during the race, was holding 77-78 during quali. Didn't get any better for me when one person left, got worse. The online portion of this game is infinitely worse than it was a year ago.

I need to go back and watch the replay but my laps with BTK in the room were all way off pace. 2:16s. When he left I went back to my typical qualifying times of 2:14s and slowly creeped back up to 2:17 until pitting. With my second set of tires I ran 2:14s for almost 10 laps before the times dropped off.
I'm sorry for the lap 2 accident Diabolic. I really don't know what happened. I got a little draft so I might have been carrying more speed than usual, but when I hit the brakes my car just went sideways.

It happens. Wish my tires would have lasted...ran a couple 2'13s chasing you but alas I had no tires left and a combination of frustration and disbelief set in.

Race officials and police alike are looking into whom could be responsible for theft and vandalism that occurred post race last night within the confines of the Team Nissan rolling compound. The vandalism in question involved team driver Chuyler personal GT-R while the theft pertained to another driver- diabolicwyvern, whose Nissan sentra is currently missing
It is still unknown exactly what the vandals are expressing...but the letters A B and S were engraved into the hood and trunk while a bullseye was placed on the rear quarter panel ofthe GT-R.
UPDATE
The personal bank account of driver Chuyler has been liquidated. Donations have been made to the Sentra owners club of America and to mothers against drunk farm animals.

The sentra has been located! Surprisingly it has been overhauled with an estimated 30K invested. Police are puzzled.

I watched the replay and I'm still scratching my head. I nailed the turn 39 times without fault, but on lap 2 my car just turned around and went straight for the inside barrier...then bounced off. If it didn't bounce, Diabolic would have been able to go around the outside.
I'm really surprised the two of us made it all the way back to the front. Of course, Esh got dropped and he should have had 2nd (I'm ok with giving it to him if it keeps people interested for the remainder of the series).
For about 10 laps I was positive Diabolic was going to catch me. I spent way too much time looking at the map to see what the gap was and finally I just decided to ignore it figuring the worst that would happen is that we'd end up in a draft battle.
