Was hoping i would get one, as i've put some playing time into GT6 this last couple of months. I've actually only ever played gt6 from Feb 2017, and done minimal playing on gt5 with this psn account.

Signed up the first day you could on the simple "enter psn name" registration

Download is 17gb

That's pretty stupid that you aren't allowed to do any sort of driving.
When NA region got it, we were at least able to do an arcade mode and qualify for the scheduled online races.

Yup, that's quite annoying.

Gonna be awesome having to deal with a bunch of people who haven't learned the cars and tracks jumping straight into the races...

I'm just a bit curious. Those who have been selected so far. Do everyone have filled out the detailed application form from the Gran Turismo site, or is here anyone that only has filled out the simple one at the Playstation EU site? I'm curious, since I only have filled out the simple one at the PS EU site, and I haven't got an invitation yet.

I only filled out the first simple application,still got a code.

I think removing Arcade is quite stupid.
EU players will not be familliar with the physics, they seriously expect players to jump in online and drive like pros for the first time?

Do we atleast have any offline mode to look forward to in the Beta? I can't be bothered with an online only beta that has specific times for races, this will leave a very bad taste in everyone's mouth, especially the less-informed people, who will assume this is how the full game be played too, terrible idea.

Hope there is some sort of offline mode..

Arcade mode is locked because it was what most people were only doing in North America.

PoDi wants to test server load in the beta, but you can't do that when everyone's playing Arcade mode offline.

I got invite on my main sub account, no PS Plus. Applied only through PS blog on that ID when it first got announced. Have platinumed GT5 and GT6 which probably helped.

So you played GT6 and didn't get a code? That makes me feel better, I never played it so I'm glad that it wasn't one of the rules for getting an invite

No you cannot, not until the 15th, which is a shame. "There are no Daily Race events available."
Still a pleasant thing to have playing in the background though.
