I dont get why we shouldnt.
The grind for all those 20Mio cars is simply ridiculous. And they become more and more!
I still dont have a single one btw :ill:

But, I do have hundrets of duplicate price cars in my garage. All useless...

PD, please make some QoL changes to GTS now! Updates and new cars are nice, but we need some game improvements ASAP.
New mileage store items. New tuning options. New car dealership options (like we had in GT4, some kind of marketplace).
ANYTHING! But the most important, let us sell price cars!

Who's with me? :)

I agree

Other suggestions could be:

- Discount percentage on new cars depending from the number of acces/login days (100 days = -10%,..)
- Another daily distance bonus (i.e. at 125miles/200 Km) with sellable bonus car
- A new daily sport race bonus ( i.e. minimum 5 races ) with sellable bonus car

In my opinion we can have plenty solutions how to make the game better..

Waiting for the mileage exchange to get the stuff i dont have sucks. Im up to 43k now because I dont buy upgrades for every car. Each week I buy everything I dont have with mileage and still have tons left over.

If only there was a 'Used Car Dealership' like it used to in the previous titles..
I'd like that feature to be included in the game but I think think the game should at least need 1-200 more cars for the feature to be fully useful.

I just got rid of all my dupes yesterday, I kept them thinking one day we might be able to trade or sell them but seeing as recently they increased limit for buying cars through the PS store I have come to the opinion they'll never let us get anything for them as it would possibly hurt their sales.

I've bought 2 cars through the store as needed them for a race but didn't want to spend the credits as saving for a 20 Mil car and I guess that's what PD are hoping lots will do. I wouldn't spend real money unless the need was urgent but I'm betting there are quite who few who will spend a lot just to save time!

Totally agree. Especially when the 3rd tab is "sell" but then tells you a gift car cannot be sold! Pointless system especially considering all the crappy duplicates it gives out compared to anything of actual use or variation.

PS, you might want to edit the title from PRICE to PRIZE ;)

Totally agree. Just bought the Jaguar XJ13 now i‘m back to grinding. Just 7 more cars for the full set, but must earn 100 mil Cr. They’re all high priced so not much chance on the wheel I have around 240 dupes I think. It’s crazy.

An online used car shop it would be great (like Forza livery online store) with an limit of 75% of new car price. Unless cars it would have had rims paints and set ups for cars!!!! Keep dreaming.

Yeah wont ever happen. PD wants to strictly control where the credits come from.

If people have hundreds of cars they are likely to be flooded with credits doing bad things to the economy.

I think I have like dozens of Gr.B cars that are $300k each? Even at 10% thats a lot of credits.

Uhm, what “bad things”? Heaven forbid everybody would be able to afford a 20 million car in a reasonable amount of time! By the way, if you were able to sell your daily gift, you would maybe get an extra 150k on average (assuming the average car is maybe worth around the price of a Gr3 car), so it would still take you forever to get a 20 million car.

And what economy are you talking about? Your credit account is not connected to anything anyone else is doing in game, so you also cannot affect it in any bad way.

If it was PD’s intention to force people into grinding the same races over and over, they are not exactly rocket scientists.

Yesterday I deleted all the duplicates I had. The more common were:

Renault Clio (3 duplicates)
Renault Megane (4 duplicates)
Mustang Gr.B (4 duplicates)
Focus ST (4 duplicates)
Mustang GT (3 duplicates)
Toyota S-FT Racing Concept (4 duplicates)
Toyota S-FT (3 duplicates)
Toyota 86 GRMN (3 duplicates)
Peugeot 208 (4 duplicates)
Peugeot PCZ Gr.B (3 duplicates)
BMW M4 (3 duplicates)
Audi Sport Quattro D1 (3 duplicates)
Audi TT (3 duplicates)
Dodge Charger (3 duplicates)
Mazda Atenza Gr.4 (3 duplicates)
Cayman GT4 (3 duplicates)

Some cars I had 2 duplicates or 1 duplicate and some I have more than 2 but I keep them (like the 911 GT3 RS or the Veyron) because I live them with diferent liveries or color combinations.

I still don't have a single > 3 Million car (not even the McLaren P1), because I had to buy most of the Gr.3, Gr.2, Gr.1 and Gr.4. The most expensive car I bought was the Ford GT40 Mark1 at 2.800.000 Cr.

I have no idea when I'll get any of the 20M cars in this game. The grind is absurd.

Just an FYI, the heading has a typo. It's spelled as "price cars" and I think you mean "prize" cars.

And I agree.. would be nice to be able to sell. I have 99,999 mi. points, and 12.5M credits. STILL saving for the Jag (or I may go with the Ford.. not sure yet).

Totally agree with the OP, even if you could sell them for 25% of the value it would be far better than nothing. I really don't know why this isn't an option and also don't know why PD has a thing with controlling credits like the 20m credit cap which to me is completely pointless.

I'd also like to see credit packs in the mileage exchange where you can buy for example 1m cr. for 20000 mileage points.

Imagine saving for the Jag, after so long, only to get it as a daily rewards the next day... and not being able to sell it. Oh, and because we don't have local saves, we can't go back and buy a different 20M car.

I'm sure this has happened to someone. Or can't you get the unicorns as a daily reward once you bought them?

You can 'sell' prize cars... you just don't get any credits for them when you do. And why should you? They are FREE cars! I wish they would simply eliminate the daily wheel of free cars.

I don't see why you should get money for them. They were free to receive so you should only be able to give them away for free.

CJ

Because the grind is ridiculous and the daily rewards are super repetitive.

It makes no sense to block content behind stupidly high grind walls. Because you can't even buy them with money.

I still haven't got a 20mil car either. I'm heavily relying on the roulette wheel to give me one because I can't be arsed to grind.

Pretty much the same as most in here.. I don't have any of the exclusive car and agree we should be able to sell them! If I sold all the dupes I could maybe grab a few before we move on from this game to the next without ever unlocking one 👎:irked:

C'mon PD do an update where we can sell all the dead weight from the garage

If I do the Ferrari event around Big Willow, I get:

~220.000 per race
~330.000 per race with clean bonus

In just over an hour I get anything from 1.000.000 to 2.000.000

This means 5 to 10 hours of grind to get a single 20.000.000 car.

Without crashing ofc or losing 1st to the La Ferrari that can finish right behind you.

Let's say 7h per 20.000.000 car.

10.000.000 - 2 cars
12.500.000 - 1 car
15.000.000 - 2 cars
20.000.000 - 4 cars

(I'll leave out the 1, 2 and 3 million cars I still couldn't buy and didn't get as rewards...).

This makes for 142.500.000 millions, which means ~50h of grinding non stop.

If I want to play with friends or practice for FIA races for 1 hour a day and I only have 2h a day, this will take 50 days. If I can only play 3x a week, this means close to half a year.

If I also want to create a livery or use photo mode, aka, have fun with the game, I'll take forever to get those cars.

I've played for 162 days (according to the achievement icon) and have over 66.000 Kms driven. Didn't win a single 10 or 20 Million car. That's an average of 400 Kms a day (10x what it's needed for a daily reward).

In all those days and Kms driven (and races won) I got 46.100.705 Cr as prize money. I bought 106 cars (average of 380K) and own 6.7 Millions atm.

Moral of the story, I will never get the 20.000.000 cars unless the wheel of misfortune decides I can have one. And that is frustrating.

Anyone with over 65000Kms driven should have gotten enough credits to buy every car in the game.

Do you ever need any of the most expensive cars? Has there ever been a sport mode race where you've needed to own one?

The reason for making it so painful to acquire all the cars seems clear - they're hoping people will buy some with real world money.

Forza has all this and worse, frankly, with many cars only obtainable during 1 week time windows.
