I'm just gonna say saying this:

- Raise the Cap
- Daily Login Bonus

Right off, a good chunk of the grind reduced.

During the Gift Car Marathon i ran the LeMans Nostalgic race with my 20 Million gift car, tuned of course, so easy it is almost boring. In some 7-8 minutes i can earn between 160.000 to 220.000 or something like that.

Race C, finishing in 3rd place, a very good result for me, i get 80.000 after a very tough race. Those 80k takes around 20 minutes and 12 players got less than me for the same time spend.
This is my main complaint - the fact that it's only worth driving a tiny number of the campaign races to earn credits. But of course, they want it to be painful and unpleasant so you decide you'd rather buy the cars with real world money. Qualifying for sport mode races is even worse for credits per minute.

I know that it will never happen, but PD should implement a 'gifting' feature, where you can gift cars to other players.

I can picture it now: "Twoclicks_ZA has sent you a gift car! Message: "Sorry about that move I pulled on you on the last lap. Here, have this Hyundai as a token of my apology."

Do you ever need any of the most expensive cars? Has there ever been a sport mode race where you've needed to own one?

I don't "need" the game as a whole either. It's not about needing, but about reasonableness. Also, I like creating liveries and photmode a lot, having thousands of hours on these modes since GT4 came out. Yeah, I'd like to have the cars because I paid for the game (CE even) to have access to it's content within a reasonable amount of hours.

The reason for making it so painful to acquire all the cars seems clear - they're hoping people will buy some with real world money.

What's the point of buying cheap cars with real money if you get them all the time as duplicates? At least me. But I'd probably have bought the 20.000.000 cars at 3$ each by now. Cuz for each of those I need ~7h of boring and repetitive grinding and my time is worth more than 3$ an hour.

Forza has all this and worse, frankly, with many cars only obtainable during 1 week time windows.

Yep, I don't want to compare things by their worse but by their best. Good that's only in Forza.
