Mr. S
Well, neither Vettel nor Webber were in range, so I could only pick Massa, Alonso or Schumacher during the interview - I'm not sure if RB is going to offer me a contract. :/ So for now it's only McLaren and Ferrari.

However, when they say "We have until Brazil", does this mean before or after the race? :odd:

I think it means until the end of the season, but to be safe you should chose before the race, as you'd already know about all your contracts by then. It's a bit glitchy though, one time it told me the offer was only good until Singapore, and it expired when I got to Korea.

Red Bull might offer you a contract if your reputation is high enough.

Well, I'm not getting any reputation since season 3 / race 16 or so, it's capped at 50, I believe. :odd:

I've never made it past season 3/race5 or so, always get bored of it and restart. You'll probably get a contract from Red Bull if you're at the maximum level.

Maybe - I'd just like to finish this one for good, so that I'm having 5 years under my belt. I'll probably start another career with Lotus this time, Williams was quite fun but well, not exactly low-end.

Singapore wasn't much of a success story until now, let's see if I can fix this in the race. Also tried racing with a Ferrari yesterday, not bad, I have to say. Then again, it was Interlagos and that's always been one of my favourite tracks.

Since the 1.02 patch I've hardly done any career mode, although I decided to do three more races tonight. My career isn't really intresting enough to deserve a thread so I'll just post a brief summary here.

Force India, Expert AI, All aids off, 20% races, no restarts, no cheating, one terminal crash...

Standing after 7/19 races
1. Me 115points
2. Button 81points
3. Vettel 70points
4. Hamilton 69points
5. Webber 69points
...18. Sutil 0points

My brief race recaps
Australia Q:8 R:5
Malaysia Q:13 R:1
China Q:8 R:1
Turkey Q:24 R:4 (Didn't feel like qualifying)
Spain Q:6 R:2
Monaco Q:1 R:1
Montreal Q:1 R:17 (Crashed out on the last lap, while in first :grumpy: )

My only really intresting race was Monaco.
Monaco Race Report
Qualifying: On my first hotlap of qualifying I set a 1:11.008  In a Force India! I was so amazed, shocked, and impressed with my lap then I completely messed up my next hotlap, so I decided to go into the pits. I didn't even go out again. I was 1.502 seconds faster then second place (Alonso), and 3.658 seconds faster then Sutil.
Race: I decided that the best thing to do would be to drive smooth and get an easy win, so I did. 9.746 seconds ahead of second place (Button) at the end. I got the fastest lap, and lapped 11 cars. Vettel, Alonso, Webber, Massa and Heidfeld all retired early.

Which season you on, if it's your first I bow down to your greatness

I'm on my first season of this career. It's also my first on full expert (I used driving line before).

:D

Still thinking about making it a 5th season in this career or starting a new one, maybe in the Lotus. Singapore sucked anyway. Ferrari might be a great ride...meh, sucks.

Keep going jcm, that's going to be a good achievement if you're making it to the WDC. :)

I've already got my trophy (I did it on hard without driving line, then again on full expert 3lap races). I did a career in the Lotus twice, before and after the patch. I finished the season around 6th in constructors. Re-signed with Lotus both times and suprise suprise, my car stayed the exact same the next year both times, no Kers, still just as slow. My teammate was driving about 3 seconds faster then before though. Just another glitch in this game that's very annoying.

Well, uh, I didn't meant achievement like that - just a good thing to have done, y'know. :)

Yeah I sort of knew that, but a true acheivement will be doing that on 100% races. That'll be next season hopefully :)

The teachers in British Columbia are currently on strike (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday), which means that I've got lots of time to continue my career with Force India :) Still on full expert 20% races with those legendary AI

Well, I like McLaren a lot. :P

But I guess it's up to your taste, McLaren, Ferrari, RB and Mercedes are quite fast - Schumachers' (or is it "Schumacher's"? It's early in the morning. >_<) car is harder to set up from what I've heard, tho.

Mr. S
Suzuka report and the (imperfect) video of it is up. :)

Nice 👍 I just finished my co-op career and won both championships :) That's right, I've got the platinum trophy :)

Did 4 more races in my Force India on expert. Four races to go, and I think I might just win the title! I've hardly spent any time without the driving line on the next four tracks though, so I'm a little scared! :nervous:

2. Button 182points
3. Hamilton 164points
Rival 4. Vettel 162points

Well, thank heavens - left Korea with 2 very exciting races and 1 rather ok'ish (India) race ahead. Still don't know if I should stay at McLaren or join Ferrari. Those are the only offers I received so far.

I'd go to Ferrari, just so you can tell Alonso "Senna, is faster, then you"

My career is going okay...
World Championship Clinched! I did it with at my team's home grand prix in India, and my race engineer didn't even tell me . Then after an optinial interview I got an email saying how happy the team was after winning both championships, despite being 121 points back in the contructors . The minor bugs in this game are just hilarious.

I now have to chose between re-signing at Force India, or upgrading to Red Bull. I'm leaning to going to Red Bull doing 100% races and cockpit view on long race weekend, but I might do Force India 100% short race weekend t-cam view. What do you think Senna?

Force India, Expert difficulty, 20% races, Short Race Weekend, Season 1.

Indeed - yet, I thought it'd be way harder on Expert. Another easy win and the 5th season is about to commence...probably the last full season for me until F1 2012 hits the shelves. :)
