How do you like that huge CRT? I heard that they were great monitors, and a lot of photo editors still use the giant CRTs.

I've had this monitor for about 3 years and it's the best monitor I've ever had. I've always owned CRT monitors and probably won't be purchasing an LCD anytime in the near future. I got a pretty good steal on this one by trading a buddy my old Hi-8 camera that was barely worth half the price of the monitor if you had purchased it new.

Anyway, I'm not sure if it's just a matter of not fine-tuning the monitor, but in most cases that I've used an LCD, the colors just appear a bit washed. Aside from this, I dislike the odd resolutions of most LCDs. Since I'm working in Photoshop with large photos most of the time, I enjoy a 'proper' resolution and the ability to crank it up above, say, 1900 pixels.

My Wallpaper.

I'm an F1 fan, obviously. Looking forward to this year's season.

i changed some icons in my dock and removed quick launch just to make it look better 👍

and one more thing, has anyone been experiencing firefox running slower than usual? on my machine, it seems it has, and i'm thinking of switching to opera...

I love me setup sooo much right now:

Sorry for the low quality though, Imageshack wasn't letting me upload a high quality shot dude to the size the image was :(

.........sorry, i don't get you mean.....:D

Firefox should be at around 60-80k of memory usage when it is idling. However, if you have a memory leak it will shoot up into the high 100s and run slower. It can be fixed by uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox.

I know my comp is ancient but i still like to share my desktop picture :D. and hey, you get to take a look at the worst system in history  . I put my hardrive space to show the gravity of how much my system sucks

I've had Vista Ultimate in dual boot with XP, and I hate it. I can't play any games of mine on it well, it hogs sooo much RAM.

Just don't ask how I got hold of it ;)
Uh, the various public betas, which were all Ultimate edition and freely available? Or maybe one of the pre-RTM builds which used the same activation key as the original Beta?

I've tried so many different builds I can't remember them all, but this is the legitimate Vista.

OMFG!!!!!        thank you for posting the original

Edit: Grr I'm having the same problem with this one as the picture of that GT-R
If the dimensions on the previous page (the GTR picture) are correct, this one is 825px high and should suit what you need.

The original isn't wide enough for your monitor. When you set it as the wallpaper, select "Center" not "Stretch" to keep the proportions. :) (Provided you're on Windows)

Enjoy.

And here are my desktops from my first week back at work after the holidays. Taking a break from the cars for a while...
