I can't stop myself now!

Getting the Dock like that is a PITA with Snow Leopard.

NO WAY BRAM! Snap on the design front.

Ideally I want to auto-hide my Menubar and have those black bars at the top of the screen too. Unfortunately there is no solid way to Auto-hide the Menubar on a Mac.

Will you stop that?

Every time I think I've got something even remotely close to a nice desktop, you come in and make me get my coat. Did you make the artwork on the wallpaper yourself? Also, nice touch on customizing the colours of the Rocketdock skin. Where did you get the buttons to show which programs are active? I know I've gotten some skins installed, but the pointers never work. I downloaded Gaia's Rocketdock skin that includes the pointers, but they won't work :(

Also, for some odd reason Rainmeter's Moxaweather skin doesn't fully work anymore. Settings are untouched, only the "Today" and first day of "4-day" don't work, but the rest works perfectly  Hence why I had to remove everything from the 4-day toggle and keep the second icon line which displays this day.

 Your desktop is very nice. Every method I have for getting clock, battery and weather info results in ugly text so I don't use them. The logo was on the wallpaper

I don't have rocketdock anymore so I'm afraid I can't help you with the indicators, or rainmeter for that matter. Have you put the indicators in the correct place and re-named them correctly?

Looks like I never even enabled the option to run the indicators in Rocketdock. Oh dear...:banghead:

Works now 👍

Addict, I'm really impressed with your desktops. They overflow with originality. For one I love how you've placed the weather widget inside one of the circles. Also, is that an RSS widget you used to display the latest GTPlanet happenings or did you write that in a notes widget? Loving the colour of the lock and Gaia combo on the bottom right as well 👍

How are you getting your Dock to look like that? I'd love to change mine to something similar, the standard Dock icons are horrible things.

First I use a program called Candybar to replace all my Icons with Helveticons.
I also check the "Use Simple Dock" button in Candybar(Dock Tab) so it changes it to a non-reflective 2D dock.
Then I replace the 2D dock stuff with Mirage Cleardock Files. Follow the instructions in the file and you will be fine.
Finally I've used Geektool to produce the black bar and semi-transparent bar behind the dock.

Or you could just modify your wallpaper in photoshop and skip geektool.I've found geektool to be difficult to use and generally not worth the hassle.

You cheater! And I who thought you manually took those icons in to Photoshop and adjusted the colours :P (Since this set looks suspiciously similair to a set I've used many times)

Thanks! I'm a bit annoyed that Helveticons has missed out Opera though. 👎

Oh, and the Mirage Cleardock Files link doesn't work.

EDIT: This is really annoying, I have the Mirage installer but it doesn't work with Snow Leopard and the link for the basic installer is broken too. UGH, how hard is it to keep the site up to date really?

A PSD template is included to make your own. You'll also need to convert them to .incs files so you can use the transparency. For some odd reason Candybar doesn't recognise PNG's as transparent images.

Cool, thanks. Got it all sorted now;

Thanks, HFS! 👍

Too bad it's a Mac dock based icon set. I tried it, they looked awesome but there just isn't enough stuff for XP users so I went back to my former icon set:

Warning! Pink Floyd fans may get a computer crash due to the amount of win in this desktop image.
