What I find quite ironic is that Eric is the kid who just whinges 'I can't help my age!111', 'You should just stop using age as an excuse to ignore me', and so on...

Then as soon as someone younger than him clearly proves him wrong he just says, 'I won't listen to you because of your age.' It's quite sad actually.
