I used to post in a desktop thread like this a loooooooooong time ago, only I believe the last time I was posting in here, I was posting pictures of anime chicks, but I'm out of that and to put it bluntly, I'm into anime guys now, soooo...anyways..here's my desktop for today! Enjoy everyone

Well, I have what's called Litestep installed. Basically, it replaces MS explorer (ie., the GUI). It allows you to do quite a bit of customization and what's not. You may notice that the start button isn't actually there. That little black dot on the left hand site actually allows me to get to four different locations (CD Drive, HD
artition C, HDartition E, My Documents) depending on which quarter I select. As far as the start menu and what's not is concerned:
You can disable / Enable desktop icons in the theme file.
So anyways. You should all check it out, it's pretty neat.

I REALLLY like how beautifull it is but I think that if I will need help sometime in the future with my PC, this litestep won't exactly help me
It's stunning though, I really like the small icons mostly lol. I HATE how I cant adjust the size of my desktop icons
I can do it with resolution but wont that affect my wallpaper and all that stuff?

Can someone help me installing this litestep stuff. It's very confusing and I dont really know wich file to download in the first place. I got some link on where to download it but there were like 6 files that all had strange names, so I dont know wich is the original programm wich I want, and wich files are mods and stuff wich I dont care about...
BTW, for the apple commercial thread, this is why I hate windows...they always give me 6 files to download, scattered all over the place with weard names, for one simple look

You should first sign up at www.litestep.net, then download the LiteStep installer by Omar at Download>LiteStep> about third from the top. When you install this the standard LS skin will appear. Then you can go read some FAQ's.
