Close but no catch.

It's a F1 GT model I'm looking for. I'd be willing to pay any amount for it if I can find one.
They're hand built using the Minichamps 1:12 F1 as a base.

Nope. I stole the file with the Media Center desktop theme off a friends pc and put it on my pc. I really like the way it looks.
Hahaha .. I did the same thing last night. I just wish I could find a good looking black theme that I didn't have to install windowblinds or themexp for.

Is it possible to share it with me lol?

But it's useless if I don't know how to apply it...:indiff:

Edit: my new desktop:

(about the Windows XP MCE theme) Couldn't you guys just search for "Royale?" on Deviant Art? You'll need the uxtheme.dll patcher though.

Download that .rar file (if you can't read rar files google winrar and install that). Then unpack it to somewhere it won't be deleted, maybe to your My Documents folder, but anywhere will work. All you have to do is doubleclick the royale.msstyles file (the one with the larger filesize) and it automatically takes care of everything for you.

I didn't ...

edit:

On second thought .. if you don't have XP Pro you may need it. So I've updated the .rar file to include it. Just put the .dll file into your C:Windows:system32 folder.

You'll need the uxtheme patcher if your downloading a theme made by someone on deviantART, but if it's the actual Royale theme by Microsoft, you don't need your uxtheme patched, just use the .exe and it will install it in the Themes directory. :)

Any reason for choosing XFCE over GNOME and KDE?
Honestly, no. I just popped in the xUbuntu live cd, played around for a few minutes, and clicked "install." Sticking Linux on this old laptop is really just one big experiment, as I'm hoping to get a MacBook in the fall.

Any linux help would actually be greatly appeciated, since I am really quite in the dark about how to do things with this OS yet. 👍

Edit: I should also mention, XFCE is much lighter than GNOME or KDE, and my system specs are really low:

Pentium 3 500mhz
192mb of RAM
6gb hard drive

It's quite fast on this old thing.

Ah, good choice then. I was just wondering because XFCE seems to be overlooked quite often.
