WTF. Whatever floats your boat...
Anyway, Duck, I'd like that full picture. I'm feeling patriotic today, thanks.
Since I know you're one of those uncool non-widescreen folks, and I know people will want the widescreen version of it, here they are.

1600x1200

1920x1200

Dude, that's the most annoying wallpaper I've ever seen. There's two colors, and their very vivid, and that grass looks like the plastic stuff anyway. I hate it! Jeez. there's no movement, nothing interesting, nothing exciting, no artistic value whatsoever, there's just no reason to look at it. And that blur of the sky is totally unnatural.

Duck's wallpaper is awesome though. It's a picture of the USMC Memorial--US Marines raising the Flag on Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima. The subject of the image is very interseting. The picture raises emotion from deep within your mid, makes you think of the event, and gives you that "feeling". The color of the picture is meant to help raise these emotions. As you can see, Duck's picture is better in every way. Matt's picture sucks and I hate it.
Agreed and agreed.

Your opinion sucks and I hate it. :)

Someone doesn't understand Depth of Field. If you'll notice, only the middle of the image is really in focus, meaning that there is a very shallow DOF. Having a shallow DOF will allow for very little of the image to be in focus. It's all part of the artistic value of that shot. ;)

BAH! Depth of field is tomfoolery. It messes with the brain, giving an LSD-esque effect. Basically, it makes me dizzy.

And Sage, I know you like good pictures, but meh. The only thing that's obviously related to Halloween is the Harvest Moon. Besides that I see a couple white boogers or man-globs floating next to and making fun of three mud pillars sticking their bubbling heads from the ground. In fact, they look just like a certain Pokemon which I won't mention here. But the Pokemon didn't have small wooden stumps projecting from their craniums. And don't try to convince me that those are pumpkins--pumpkins aren't bubbly.

GT4 Rule, dude, the fish are ridiculous. You had a 'paper a few pages ago with one fish. I hate to tell you, but the fish have spawned in your computer. I don't know what they're for or why you have them (are they pets or something?) but they're a little fruity. And not only in color.

Jeez I've had a case of The Mondays (anyone seen Office Space?) and it's even time for my feast of vegetables and fish! Too bad I'm not Orthodox or that would make sense.

"And those kids are always playing thier hippity-hop music and listening to the Snoop Dogg. They play it so loud that I can hear it when my hearing aid batteries are dead. Bah humbug with their electronic abacuses and video games."

Ouch guys, harsh. I mean, I'm only the most renowned photographer the world has eva seen!

Actually, TS once again has mesmerized with a great picture. This one is actually interesting to look at. The game of Darts is a fun game, even when one sucks horribly, like me. Walls with holes are always amusing. Even that board itself is an engineering marvel. Do you guys realizes how hard it is to bend steel wire that thick?

Awww, guys, you make me so happy. I always feel like I can talk to y...

Wait a minute. I almost went emo there for a second.

Anyway, custom-made for me, thanks dougie! Now how do I get Google to find it? I want everyone to know me.

does anyone know how to get the bottom tool bar to look like windows vista just like GT4_Rule's?

if anyone can, can you give me the link on where to download it?
thanks

You’re just angry because you didn’t find such an awesomelicious picture yourself. :sly: Anyway, David Lanham kicks ass – he’s the only artist who’s ever pulled me away from the modern-clean-minimalist-glossy styles. Quite a feat.

Thanks to dougie my teary eyes are dried, and I've run across this, which is conveniently in 4:3:

You can go ahead with my widescreen, but I think it looks terrible. Maybe if you have one of those tiny notebooks. If only Motor Trend would get with the times...

Well the wallpaper does suck, but the Win2k skin is noice. Much better than the candy style default XP skin. :yuck:

Agreed. Although I know many people that leave that ugly blue theme on.

Come on! At least switch to silver.

ok, thanks man. i found the one i want but i'm not really sure how to put it into my computer since i don't really know about the RAR file......anyone help? (pm or add my instant messaging, preferably instant messaging)

Download 7zip or WinRAR. Personally, I use 7zip, but more people use WinRAR. Either one will do.

Also, you probably need to patch your uxtheme.dll before you can use those themes.

well, i don't think i'm going to use a vista theme for my computer.....but i'm not sure yet.

anyways, here my current desktop
