I finally got BMW up to 50 last night. Man that was some work. I could have had up there weeks ago but since I drive multiple cars it took a while. I wish there was something special at the end though. A manufacturer movie or half-naked chick or something.

👍

I got there quite a while ago, with ferrari, I hit it about the same day I hit level 150, it was hard work, and I was disapointed there was no half naked chick or anything besides that achievement :indiff:

that is a big accomplishment. nice job. I drive my vettes like crazy and am only 21 affinity i think

Thanks. It was way easier getting to 150 than getting to 50 affinity. I'm done with that task. If I get 50 with another manufacturer it'll be purely by chance.

Is there a point where the XP needed per level stops increasing? XP per driver level has been constant for many many levels before 100. My highest affinity is only 17 and the XP keeps going up.

I was driver level 150 very quickly, but I still have affinity level 21 for Nissan as my highest affinity. I like to race all cars so it will take a long while before I get one to 50.

What kind of payout do you get for Affinity Level 50? I think my highest right now is 7 so it'll be a while

I'm at level 50 Ferrari. Wasn't that bad. I'm only driver lever 115 too.

My top 5 affinity's range from Level 19-24 as i use a lot of different cars, mostly Japanese cars though and I'm at level 105. You must use almost only Ferrari's haha.

There is no way i'll get to level 50 affinity.I use different manufacturers all the time and plus i play Elder Scrolls V(92 hours in). That game takes a lot of my time.

Might as well post this here.
Just reached level 24 with nissan. It takes 1,342,500xp to reach level 24 affinity.
Affinity xp needed for the next level keeps going up til level 23, around 130,000xp needed to go from 22 to 23. Then from 23 to 24 it takes 100,000xp, and from 24 to 25 takes 50,000xp. From then onto 50 it's also 50,000xp per level.

I think my highest affinity now is VW and Audi both around 13 or so. I've been experimenting with other car brands ranking them all up. Trying to start SOME affinity even if I don't use those cars.

I really need to get my VW and Audi up though. Been doing more time trials not in rivals, which is dumb in my book cuz at least in rivals time trial stuff I can earn xp and credits.

Congrats! I did the same thing for Chevrolet awhile back. Now I'm slowly working Mazda while driving other cars from different manufactures.

VW is in my Top 3 as well, at 15 I think, just ahead of Chevrolet, I think on 13 (and almost all with the Spark!). From 4th they're all in the single digits. But, in the lead, with an Affinity Level of 35... Honda. Type-R tuned. ;)

I was wondering if the amount would just get higher and higher each level. I noticed a while back (somewhere around Driver Level 100), that I was only needing 50,000 each level, which explained why people moved from 100 to 150 relatively fast. Good to know.

As for Affinity - my current leader is Mazda at 18, with Lotus behind by one full bar, and then Toyota halfway through 16. Unsurprisingly, my three most-used Rivals cars correspond with that. I'm at Driver Level 129 though... oh, that's why, 15 manufacturers are at Level 10 or higher, and another 25 have free access to parts. That explains it

I'm level 20/21/22 with 11 manufacturers, and 10-19 with another bunch. I'm glad to hear that it will level up faster after level 24! I race all kinds of cars and never really stick to one brand.

Honda is my 3rd highest affinity. I think I made it to level 12 last night with a newly built, teg type r motor swapped, A class EK Civic. And I have a nicely built EK Civic at A class already built on stock motor/drivetrain, painted white with just a tasteful wheel upgrade. The newest one I painted yellow, slapped green volks on it and went all out as more core JDM balls to the wall Civic lol

And I'm a VW/Audi euro fan!!!! but this car is fun to drive even with excessive fwd torque steer

That car is a load of fun in Aclass. You should see it with an RWD swap, it gets really wild. Nissan would be my first at around 24 i think, Mazda is in a close second at 22(i think) and i believe Honda is my third just above 20.

Am i the only one who doesn't want to get any of them up to 50?

I've got a few in the 40's now but i'm reluctant to get to 50, i'm scared that once i get to 50 there won't be much of an incentive to use the manufacturer again.

I for one hope they up the limit on affinity, once you get past 24 it seems to level up rather quickly.

I already don't have much incentive - my main goal was free parts, especially for makes I planned on owning a lot of road cars that were going to be tuned. Past that, it's just bonus cash, which flies at you anyways with Rivals, and provided the delimiting of the Driver Levels keeps all of them at 50K XP per, I've got a higher payout coming from them now.

The hard ones for me are the single-car manufacturers, predictably.
