Never hurts to try. They're pretty easy to replace. So should I replace those then?
I already went to a wreck for parts, couldn't find a fender without rust.Dude go get some from a wreckers for like 20 bucks, if you strike lucky you'll even get one the same colour - if not it would only be like 50 bucks to paint them....
Yup!Does that include seals and a water pump too?
Sorry for the double post but I need some help. I went to pick up my car from the mechanic today, he said he changed belt, water pump and seals, and said the timing is perfect. However when I took it for a test drive, April was significantly slower. It was super sluggish and was not as fast as it used to be.
I said that it was slower to the mechanic and he was very surprised, and confused. He said that he tightened the timing belt because it was loose before, maybe he over tightened it and the car is struggling?
Any of you know what the problem could be?
The belt can only be as tight as the tensioner makes it.He said that he tightened the timing belt because it was loose before, maybe he over tightened it and the car is struggling?
Looking nice =). That rear end looks sick with that black. Yea needs some more low loll but still looks cool.
Just try to have as much fun as possible driving at that height. Depending how low you go, the more careful you have to drive. Don't wanna break anything under there.
It's very hard to raise your car once you go low =(. Only because it looks so nice how it will sit, you don't wanna do it.
Keep up the nice work.
I put spray wax on them and wipe them down, the water just beads off, gets me excited. And they are quite shiny, especially at night. Those wheels and tires look very nice. Great investment for the car. Also looks like the aluminum wheels are clear coated so they will be much easier to maintain and keep clean.
Not exactly a joking matter really, style bars are called "Mouse Traps" for a damn good reason.
Do not buy a style bar. If anything it's far more dangerous than nothing at all.
Buy an approved, quality rollbar or simply don't bother - I would definitely recommend investing in a rollbar however even if you're only going for occasional spirited drive; anything can happen - and if you have nothing but a canvas roof protecting you it won't end well if something goes wrong.
Drive smart, drive safe 👍
(Rust first though, seriously the longer you put it off the worse it's gonna get. Then replace your suspension bushes, your ones will be utterly rooted)
Are the hard dog ones not scca or nasa approved? I don't think I'll be installing racing harnesses.Blackbird Fabworx has the best roll bars. The one I have was $540 in any powdercoated color I wanted with a harness bar. Most of the Harddog bars do not include the harness bar. SCCA or NASA approved depending on your choice as well. The triangulated design is more solid than the BF bars and you dont lose any visibility either.
I think only one of them is, the Hard Dog Sport. But it only comes with harness tabs, the harness bar is extra. Are the hard dog ones not scca or nasa approved? I don't think I'll be installing racing harnesses.
What would racing harnesses have to do with visibility?Even if you don't install harnesses, the extra visibility is worth it.
