lol your results are flawed, cusco and gt4 have nothing to do with gt5 buds.

and no im not saying it has to do with %age and it doesnt say it anywhere in game its just realistic to think about having a 95% lock at max and 40% at minimum compared to 60% at max. and 5% at minimum.

like whoever said earlier, go put one tire on grass and one on cement, with it at 5 you can floor it and the tire on the cement will light up right away, with it at 60, you will only burn the tire on the grass and not the one on cement, therefore open differential.

like i said. have fun with your open diff.
 
So explain why a 95% locked diff (IT at 5) CANT turn. and a 40% locked diff (IT at 60) WONT understeer.. that goes against everything from logic to physics down to just common sense

I never said that setting the IT higher causes understeer silly. Having it set low in the front causes understeer where as the Rear Wheels are barely affected by understeer so setting it low doesnt cause much difference. Test it out with a 4wd or FWD car, you can BARELY turn with it set at 5 because it is so locked up and causes massive understeer and you can easily turn with it at 60 lighting the inside tire up because it isnt locked.

If a differential is 95% lock the car would understeer horribly.

Nothing in this game is inverted so why would this be. Just please leave my thread and stop being a flamer.
