$113,460 (base price*: $109,241), they paid how much for a body on an engine??? For less then half that price, strike that, 1/3 the price I could get a '73 with a rat in it pushing that or more along with a killer supports and suspension to put it all together . ??????? I'll charge that much who wants one???

go find out about the chevrolet corvette callaway sledgehammer. i heard about it in the 80's when it came out but i am 100% sure that it was one of them for sale. though all the sites i was able to find say that no examples were ever sold. but performance was over 250mph and it was street legal... now THAT is a corvette
