Shift will last a week maybe, if you don't sell it before that. It needs some major bugs fixed before it becomes any fun.

Well I got to have a go myself on the demo, felt quite stale to me so if I have the cash for a second game before Xmas, Dirt 2 seems to be the one for me.

The main trouble with that game is the sinfully wretched menu systems. It seems like they don't want you to do anything. Ever.

Great game though. I love me some Nurburgring.

Thanks mate.:) It helps for continuation when you have working pedals on your steering wheel so it's been out of action lately.:(

Shame I can't lend you mine seeing as I can't use it at uni at the moment (although I'm looking for a way to set it up, I'm not allowed to change much of the room or I'd have put a saw on it already). That said I never used to be on G25 so I haven't been effected majorly and neither have my racing results on the rare occasion I go online. I'm not currently working on anything new as I don't have any cars I'm particularly interested in tuning or re-tuning at the moment. I will consider (making no promises) to take a request which is for any course except Daytona oval (I'm just no good at tuning on the oval as it doesn't suit my style of low weight, high downforce and thus low power).

My pedals are out of warranty, they've been with an electronics repair specialist for about a week now.

I hope you get your pedals back in good shape Paulie. Hopefully old mate thats looking at them for you knows what he is doing!:)
Also I like your style Dragonistic, 'low weight, high downforce and thus low power'.:D

Yes, lower as in nothing over 500BHP I think.:)
The Amuse S2000 GT1 is a good example.

I think what he means is that given a set PP restriction he'll go with higher downforce and lower weight. In an unlimited scenario we have no problem going bonkers, like his 599 Predator Edition might suggest.

Speaking of, I've been working on a 700, yes 700, bhp Ford GT recently as a personal project which I will consider releasing as a Predator Ed. Thats enough power to hit 200mph on the Fuji straight with no slip stream and still make T1 whilst, being a GT on super fat rears and MR, still being quite easy to control. Certainly alot more stable then my other personal car, a 700bhp Corvette which an absolute monster.

I'd still be making Predator Editions probably if I had my wheel working yet, I should have it back and hopefully working on Monday.:) But the GT5 demo will be alluring for a while.:sly:

Sorry if this question has been arised already, but is 'The Lion's Den' somewhat related to that ute of yours?

I'm currently tuning on sixaxis again, which is why I might get a wheel user to beta test this GT I'm working on.

Sort of, only in that the Holden symbol is a Lion.

I'd say we've done our jobs then, I know my tunes in particular are often a love hate affair amongst customers. Thanks for the quick feedback though :)

Wow, I just tried out your '07 Sti tune, and I haven't lost a race since. Very impressive :)

I have now been using the 600PP WRS tune for a couple hours, and I am yet to find a worthy challenger. I am about 1.5 seconds faster per lap than everyone!

That being said I do have a couple small criticisms. I found that the car would favor understeer quite a bit under any amount of acceleration, and i prefer a car set up for at least a little bit of oversteer, the car felt slightly unbalanced. On the other hand the lift off oversteer at high speed was very managable (and could even be used to my advantage in some cases), which i really liked. Overall a good predictable setup, i enjoyed driving it, thanks alot!

Thanks.:) Chances are (I tuned them a while ago so can't remember right now for sure) that I set my WRXs up for making the apex under lift-off oversteer then powering out, so under acceleration it would be quite possible they understeer a bit.:) Although the old N3 tyre tunes used to powerslide on their N3 tyres, that was fun.

Ahh the fun I had with a WRX on N3s in the McRae tribute event way back... Also, going home tomorrow which is why I never got around to releasing my GT. Still plan to though soon enough, finished all my work yesterday, did Xmas shopping mostly, and will finally be back at home for my own G25 testing and a router again finally .

I just noticed today that I've been tuning for over two years now. Any ideas what I should do to celebrate?:D

I didn't even notice this post until now. Mate, your GT should be a blast, plus there are some Christmas events coming some time this week I think we should do some tunes for.:)

Do I have the time is the question? I'm busy trying to visit all my friends and see family as much as I can whilst I'm at home which is causing yet more delay. That said I'm now into final phase with the GT and also created a quick Amuse/Opera drift set up which I feel happy with on G25 for a reasonably friendly car to drift.

Just do what you can and only what you want to or feel up to mate.:)

Congrats on reaching two years of tuning Paulie. 👍 I'm sure there will be many more to come.

OOH, plus Lion's Den Performance just reached over 100,000 views.....for the new thread anyway.:sly: Ya'll are definitely getting some tunes for the Christmas events coming later this week assuming they involve cars I can tune.:)
