I hope with LPB2 they sort out the controls. Many a time I have timed jumps perfectly only for Sackboy to slide off platforms due to the fact that he feels like he's on ice all the bloody time. I lost patience with the original and don't bother with it anymore. Like I said, I bought it as a creation tool to let my imagination free, but it's a con when you have to actually play through the supplied levels to actually get anything to create with!

Hey guys. I am trying for the PLATINUM TROPHY

I will soon beat the game in 100%, All I need is 50 hearts for myself and the level.
Please help. :)

the level name is
Magical Forest
my PSN ID is
NoxNoctisUmbra

Thanks!

Is anyone around today to help me get some co-op stuff?
I'm off school with a flu and this is cheering me up :P

Too bad :( , by the time I start LBP play it would be your bed time :(

I am almost done. Just need 4 or 5 more levels collect 100% and 5 levels of beating without dying.

Also thanks lildomplaya.
Its bit ridiculous to get a Platinum trophy I need 50 hearts for myself and my level! And my level stinks. I need more imagination!

Hey guys, I just completed 100% of story line as well Without Dying! Please Please Please start the game and heart me and my creation!

I've never really been into 'kiddie' games, but I tried the demo for this a few days ago....

I loved it. Never played anything like it before and I spent hours replaying the demo.

I'll be getting it this weekend hopefully

U should be getting the Game of the year Edition if i were you, wich has all of the DLC.

Not all of the DLC. Some.. But its worth it.. also its not a kiddy game.. its a family game ;) but you need good imagination and artist to create a level.

So I got a PS3 a little over a month ago, and I’ve been pretty much only playing LBP. Played a bit of GT4P and Uncharted 2, but hell LBP alone was worth the price of admission. I’ve already pre-ordered LBP2 CE.

Could someone please help with this question? I've been playing LBP for a while with my kids. We just used a single player as we made our way through the game. Now we are interested in trying to beat existing level scores. Is there no way to create a "second player" within the existing game, with all the levels "open", or does the new player have to be created outside the game & then start from scratch redoing all the levels?

Thanks! I couldn't seem to find this information anywhere else! :dunce:

I had trouble with this too… I think all you have to do is pair a second controller with the PS3 and it should work, but there may be some other steps I can’t remember…

I have been hooked on this game. You can join other players games online and it is up to 4 player drop in drop out co-op. You can also have up to 4 players building levels together and that function works VERY well. This is also one of the few PS3 games that actually lets you invite friends to your game or you can join their game.

So who else is off-the-wall excited that we're under two weeks now? I am!!

I cant wait but dang I had no idea it was only 2 weeks away. I just started playing LBP1 (Christmas present). :dunce:
I think I am getting close to the end of the storyline part. Not sure. I am on the Subway level. Just got past the car level which was very fun. I would like to get 100% on every level but most requires 2 player co-op and sometimes it never finds a co-op partner. I have most of the solo stuff, just need some of the co-op goodies.

I'd say you're about 2/3 of the way there. The Japanese levels are an absolute chore though the first time 'round, as well as the giant spinny wheel level near the very end of the game.

Crap, I need to order my Collector's Edition. I want Clu and my daughter needs book ends and a Sackboy.
Yeah I decided to pass on the CE for GT5 and instead buy the CE edition of LBP2.

Oh thats good news if I am only 2/3 throught the game. I was hoping it wouldnt end anytime soon. I have been hooked on this game. :)

I just made it to a level last night that required a 4 player co-op. :)
Unfortunatly one of us died and could not get the extra goodies. I bet if you got a group of friends together for this game it would be even more impossible to put down. I have a lot of fun just playing with people I dont know and hardlyany communication. I tried wearing a headset but no one ever talks. Its still a very fun co-op game.

I just ordered LBP2. :D Hope as many of you guys will be playing as there were with the first game. Amazon is doing a Ratchet & Clank pre-order special and giving you 20 bucks to spend on anything on the site after purchasing the game.

Over the weekend I finished up the main storyline. 44 levels total? I am currently in the process of getting 100% for every single level.

I've been playing LBP2 since yesterday, and let me tell you...

...it's amazing. I haven't been this blown away in a long time! Very very pleased with the way this game turned out. Immensely superior to it's predecessor in each and ever way.

Currently downloading the demo and lucky for me I get payed tomorrow and LBP comes out the day after here :).

The tutorial options in create are far and away better than the previous one. Much more fleshed out, and definitely more plentiful. Anyone with the patience to sit through the videos will be able to create TONS of things. I'm pumped!
