That's what I thought. The only thing I see that might be worth anything is the Mod Nation racer beta.

A new Pirates of the Caribbean level kit is out, which includes new tools such as the global water object, scuba gear and a bubble machine. I'm going to download this pack just to get to check out the water. 👍

Anyone in the mood for multiplayer? Add me if you haven't already, and I'd love to play online (story mode or community levels) :)

Iv had LBP for over a year, and i find a really hard game to like. The idea of it was brilliant, but i just cant find the time or the patience to make the stuff i want, and i really hate the way you have to play through all the levels just to get all the creation tools - they should all be available to you at the beginning. I bought the game so i could us my imagination to create stuff. This was a big selling point, and its so misleading. My better judgement says that because i don't play it, i should trade it in. But something just stops me. Is there a decent strategy guide out there?

Demo? Ha, watch the new trailer for LBP2! Its an endless game and you and your wife would love it. I played with my GF for 4 hours in one sitting, it was the other marathon adult activity that got her off the game.

Do you think it would be worth it to get the first, or should I just wait for the second?
I have a feeling I will be buying the first one in the near future. I have been really loving the demo. So fun messing with the physics and the creativity in this game.

Whether it will be worth it to get the first one will likely depend on how much transfers to the second. They say all the online levels will.

If nothing else, a rental or cheap used copy might be worth it just to play through the story levels and give you some experience before the end of the year.

Winter 2010, thats a long time from now, you can get the GOTY for $30 new now. go for for the GOTY, you will not regret it. I would say if you just want to burn through the quest and try a "few" levels then rent it. But there are so many user levels you could be missing some of the great ones. I am amazed by many of the levels still being made.

I am very tempted to get the GOTY especially if it is only $30.00 for all the DLC. Like you said , winter 2010 is a long way away.

So how does the rest of the game work? I am able to play other players home made maps? I currently only have the demo and would like to check out other creations.

Yes, levels created by users can be uploaded to the servers. From there anyone can play them, rate them, and comment on them. You can also play all story mode levels and user levels with up to four people, either all on one machine, all online, or any combination in between.

This is necessary to get 100% on story mode levels as some areas are only accessible with multiple players.

And if you have a the PS3 Eye you can take pictures of things and add them as stickers to your character (I made a University of Kentucky jersey and hat) or place them in your levels (I made a boss from an image of a Tiki statue I got in Hawaii).

Thats just insane. What a truly amazing game. There is nothing like LBP on the 360 thats for sure. I will have to pick up another controller so Heather and I can play some of the co-op levels together.

And if you like the Play. Create. Share. concept and also like kart racers check out MadNation Racers coming out very soon. Make your own tracks, drivers, and karts.

LittleBigPlanet now has a space in Home... and it's really quite impressive, and has several rewards you can win from playing the different games in the space as well as from the personal space. You can click on the following link for more details, and a video preview:

Heather said they are coming out with a package that has LBP and a controller in one set. I think I might wait and get that.
