Hello Guys and Girls, Just a little information for anyone who is interested.

I have 4 or 5 tunes to finish up at the moment, including Ferrari F430, Nissan Z GT500 Base model and a couple of oldies, after which I will be taking a little break.

The reason for the break, is so I can go through all of my tunes which have been posted before the last major update and give them all a check over to make sure they are all still working as I intended before I transfer them all to the new GTPlanet Database.

I will still be around GTPlanet and I am still open to any requests that you may have if there is anything you would like me to try my hand at.

Thanks again for visiting our little corner of GTPlanet and for the support you have shown us. I hope we were able to help.

I'm sure it's a pain to spend time redoing work you've done - but I wish more tuners did this with a quality over quantity mentality...
thank you for your efforts - I dig your tunes

Thanks for the support and the kind words:cheers:

Yeah, it is a bit of a pain but that's what happens when changes are made to the physics.

And being fair most of the other tuners do the same sort of thing and some of them do it very quickly whenever a new update changes things. I know that some of them don't even post their tunes until they are completely happy that they can do no better which I can understand.

I just started tuning a couple of months ago, so for me it's more about putting my tunes out there and hopefully getting feedback to help me improve. I've picked up some good tips and advice over that time so now that the new database is up and running it seems like the perfect time for me to go back and do it. Hopefully there won't be a lot to change but entering them all into the database will take a while.

Thanks for the kind words @jwesson1 I'm glad you like the tunes, love that Skyline myself too, had great fun in the Autumn Ring seasonal with it recently.

Wow, just a couple of requests...lol. I think my partner a has a couple of these in the works already, he is just a little busy with work and family commitments at the moment I'll see if he has any ready and try and get them off him. As for the Lambo collection don't worry they will be among the first things I do when I restart, I have been fighting with the SV and the Chrome line for a while so they're not too far away.

Hi guys yes I will admit I've dropped the ball some what In The last couple of weeks with posting my tunes I do have quite few to post on here it's just trying to find time between work and looking after my son.

@jwesson1 I have the two evos, the three fords as well as the fiat 500 I will do my best to post them this week for you if not I will pass them to @Thorin Cain to post for you to try

Dirty_Duck - Your Honda Civic Type R EK 97 Tune is amazing.Awesome turn in and the grip level is spot on IMO.If your other tunes are like that i'll be mega happy playing GT6.
I don't think you'll be disappointed, I love most of his Hot Hatches. They are usually super fun to drive, real easy to control and normally pretty damn quick too. That's the main reason I haven't posted many of them myself yet. :D

I went on a little spending spree after Update 1.05 and tried out the new search function at the dealership.
I have always been a fan of the MR cars more than most, so I hit up a search for all of the MR cars at the lower pps (Sub 500) and bought up a whole bunch of them. I started with this one more or less straight away and found it to be a little bit of a handful, to say the least.

I then see that it was nominated for the "Difficult Car challenge" for April, quite unsurprisingly. I think it is a very good candidate for this and look forward to seeing how the other tuners deal with this.

I originally wanted to tune this car at maximum power (592pp)on Racing Soft tyres and then if I could manage that ok, I was going to try my hand at translating this into a 550pp Sports Soft tune and enter it into the challenge. I have clocked up many miles with this car and was almost happy with it during a test at Nurburgring GP/F when at 592pp I started putting in lap times below most of our other 600pp road cars. I was just unsure of the next changes to be made so I got @Dirty_Duck to give it a test drive and he suggested among other things to lower the power down to 550pp levels. I decided this morning to test out the new Data logger as I have not really had the time to do so yet and went back and did some laps @ GP/F as it was fresh in my mind and saved the fastest lap(Which was at the time 1:53.xxx) After taking in some of the data from the logger I added 1 click to the rear brake which took over a second off the lap time and later After a little more testing and another suggestion from my tuning partner(Reducing Roll Bars) I came back to the track and took my lap time down to 1:51.4xx with a minor excursion. The car is still very competitive at 592pp against most of the 600pp Road Cars but at 550pp I think it's got more than a real good chance of great results.

So may I take the time to introduce you to one of my new favourite 550pp Road cars, possibly my favorite 550pp car, period. The Ouillim Motors Spirra Prototype '04.

Have fun and enjoy your drive!

Hey Thorin I have a question about this setup: When am driving this car with your settings at the Nordschleife, the back end starts to drift under braking but also when getting on the throttle, I am also driving with DS3 and use an automatic gearbox and gas: X and braking i use the square. any tips how to tackle it? I really love this car and you tunes in general but this one I just cant drive properly it seems...

It is a bit of a tricky one to get the best from. I try to brake a little early, before I'm fully off the gas and try to be as smooth as possible coming off the brakes. You really need to get the turn in just right or it could get messy.

Having said that, I've never driven the car round the Nordschleife but I have learned that quite a few of my tunes are a little aggressive when I do drive there. I usually raise the ride height and soften the springs a little. If you still find it a problem try increasing the braking sensitivity on the LSD until corner entry is a bit safer. I like to be able to over-rotate the car on entry for some options of racing lines, so this is usually a bit lower than it could be.

I'll give it a run around there tomorrow after I've done some grinding and see how it gets on. I'll get back to you.

p.s. Love the handle....Legend:bowdown:

This tune is for the Twin Ring Motegi East Course Seasonal Event. I have tried to take a few ideas I liked from a couple of the other versions of this car I tried for this seasonal event and threw in my own little twists to create this one. Thanks to @Dirty_Duck and @DolHaus for the inspiration!

Thanks @romynovanda, that's quite an endorsement and a pretty big compliment, considering the company! Stop, you'll make me blush.

Seriously though, as Dirty Duck said, we are always glad to help out and are pleased to see people like our tunes. And of course we'll take a request.

Oooh, some fun tricky ones!:)

It's a good news, bad news story I'm afraid. At the moment I don't think either of us actually have any of these cars yet, that's the bad news! Good news is, it's nothing a good assault on the Redbull races won't fix.;)

I have a couple of little bits to do this afternoon, Finishing up a 575pp Ferrari F430, taking my naughty little Spirra for a drive round the "Green Hell" to stop it from trying to kill people and then I'm going to go finish off the remaining seasonal events so I can get some nice new paint and a whole wad of credits. I will make a start on these when I can for you @romynovanda but don't hold your breath, from some of the stories I have heard the Deltawing and the Audi are complete pains and will likely take some time. Looking forward to the Escudo though, it's been a while...

Thanks again for your support:cheers:

As a request I have 2 cars that I really can't tune good myself:
Lotus Elise 111R Streetcar (500pp race soft)
Ford Focus RS 02 (500 and 550 pp race soft)
both fitted for the Nordschleife and with the joystick settings I gave you in the Oullim motors reply :)
Maybe you can look into it, with my skills its all over the place....

I have been working on an Elise on sport tyres help a friend out with his career races, I'll have a look at getting her ready for racing rubber when I get the chance.

Ah, the Focus RS everyones favorite, so many lobbies ban this car, it's way too good for the pp levels. I've spent a huge amount of time tuning cars to beat this thing, now you want us to help it fight back...ok, guess we can do that! :P

To be honest, I think someone may have one tucked away safe and sound at the back of the garage, I'll have a little rumage later.
