Anyone seen the advert, cant remember what its for but its definatly a plug.... something about meeting neighbours and building communities.:):)

I caught it too, and don't remember what it was for either. I remember it wasn't games related though.

links will no doubt be up soon once someone else catches it.

I've seen it twice now...
I'll try and get a link but i don't what it was for either

I saw the advert last night on TV as well, it was quite bizarre to suddenly hear that out of the blue. The advert can't be much good though as I didn't notice what it was for either!!!

Could some one kindly explain what on earth this advert is, and what relevance to gran turismo there is.?

Oh

A tad random, I see what you mean now.

But I agree it doesn't have much relevance to Gran Turismo.

Yeah I did notice that advert, was like "did she just say Gran Turismo?".. then I thought, I know this is going to end up on gtplanet! :sly:

Yep saw it a few days ago also and it caught my attention... it would have been even better if we got to hear the old bat recite them hahaha

Then I would be impressed ;)

haha me too.

But I did think I heard wrong, and that I might be going slightly mad and starting to see and hear new GT information in the most random areas of life, as though somehow a little old lady on telly had more info on GT5.

Heh, maybe its Sony playing games with us! Making fun of our obsession with looking all over for info.

i thought exactly the same thing!

I think it is all part of the plan, there must have been some cooperation in the suttle plug as otherwise wouldnt it have been an infringment of copyright?

I doubt anybody is going to complain at a bit of free publicity. Plus, I doubt that Polyphony Digital own the rights to the phrase "Gran Turismo", otherwise The Cardigans could be in trouble too... (I bet atleast one or two kids got a nasty shock at Christmas in 1998 when they got that album instead of the game!)
