Yeah, lesson to learn : don't be dirty, and keep pushing till the end.If Hizal had kept pushing instead of giving up.
And Cody watching the replay and pointing at the dirty move of Fraga is kind of ironic

Also, several drivers went through T1 side by side. Igor was the only one who pushed the driver on the outside off track into the astroturf (Nick dropped from 3rd to 10th or 11th). And Igor was on softs, so no excuse for lack of grip.
No penalty or even a warning though.
I. Fraga with 5 penalty
IF HIZAL HAD HIS HEAD IN IT'S PLACE, HE WOULD BE SCREAMING IN 1ST NOW
LOL!
Easily the most dramatic final, although maybe not the best.
10 seconds against Cody is fair, but that could have (and should have) been a black flag. Miya easily had pace to contest for a win.
Absolutely brutal for Hizal. I'm not sure if he gave up but victory was right there with him catching Igor with plenty of laps to go and again with the penalty awarded post race.
I hope the drivers remember this, it should be an interesting remainder of events.
He literally has Gran Turismo on his Regional F3 car, and Kaz treats him like his son. Why would they?
For sure! "Sub-rules" would also allow us to have a Mustang x Camaro x Challenger duel or the historic Le Mans machines, so many cool combinations possible.
Should be in-race investigation and penalty, not after the race. I feel Mikaels frustration.
Igor doing himself less friends.
Yup. The stewards had to check what the gap was before deciding the penalty. If Hizal was 4 seconds back, the penalty would have been 3 seconds. If Hizal was right on him, there would have been a warning. That 5s penalty is ridiculous when they knew Hizal was just over 5s back.
So, basically they're saying Fraga got the win through illegally blocking Hizal, but they award him the win anyway.
Great precedent!
Was a penalty given out for Fraga pushing Rubilar out wide at La Source, by the way?Stewards could have given a 6sec penalty. They didn't because they think Igor still deserved the win, despite the obvious dirty move.

Either way, it's a shame to see this leg of the Nations World Tour end on that note, especially after a weekend's worth of great racing. Poor Hizal looked less than happy on the podium...
Are we really gonna pretend that Hizal always drove perfectly clean and never messed up someone else's race ?Easily the most dramatic final, although maybe not the best.

Saw them investigating lesser incidents in previous races, also, no charge for Igor pushing Nico out of the track in first corner.I'm pretty sure the stewards had no idea until after the race
