I wouldn't be surprised if Mikail gets a 'talking to' just like Brooks did that one time, not that I would agree with it, but I doubt they'll be happy with him pointing out the dirtiness.
Crazy fast Japanese kid with a very innovative strategy ?At least everyone now knows what to expect from online racing at Spa
Drivers who would do something like that don't tend to make it to series where you can run 300 kph, but I imagine a black flag, broken nose, and the unemployment line would be the result. So, just to put this in context. There's 2 cars going at 300kph through a flat out corner nose to tail and the one ahead intentionally lifts. What would happen in real life and what penalty would the driver get?
I love Mik’s Personality just like everyone else, but I’m sorry.....you just can’t let up like that. I just don’t understand that mentality. Finish within 5 seconds and he would have won the event. But by letting up he cost himself the event, and that’s on him. I won’t defend Fraga’s behavior, but TBF he was penalized for it. I just can’t understand Mik letting up out of frustration. This has always been the struggle for him.....just a tiny but if frustration gets the best of him in some critical moments. I think he has the pace and I hope to see him on the top step soon. But the blame here isn’t all on Fraga IMHO. Just my two cents.
He said he had to save fuel after short filling on his last stop.I love Mik’s Personality just like everyone else, but I’m sorry.....you just can’t let up like that. Hamilton kinda did it in 2017Drivers who would do something like that don't tend to make it to series where you can run 300 kph, but I imagine a black flag, broken nose, and the unemployment line would be the result.
Nah the plain stupid is the stewards awarding the victory to the dirty driver. This was a decision made to favor one person only. Had Hizal been at 4.9 it would have been a different penalty. How do I know..? Because it would have been 6 seconds if they really meant to punish Igor.
I guess you'll have enough material for your article
We shouldn't be too harsh with Hizal. At the end, he's just a young student playing racing games. Just imagine for a second the pressure and frustration during this race. Fraga actually deals with pressure every week with his real races and real race car. Now, all these GT events looks cool and all, but a damage system is essential at this point, too much ping pong races.Don't treat Hizal as the victim here.
Everyone knows what Igor did. It's wrong, of course.
If Hizal could keep his head cool and wait for the stewards decision, he would won that. But noooo... he literally stop racing. Like, really? How much salt do you have on your head to act like that?
Again, what Igor did is wrong. But what Hizal did is plain stupid.
it is just a gameAll in all the whole story made the most damage for the event. If dangerous driving gives you just a 5s penalty you admitting its just a game and it does not matter what fancy brands you take as partners.
Well. I think we can say that's shots fired.
Salzburg is in three weeks. Anyone reckon tempers will be soothed by then?
In real life Fraga would have ended in the walls on the right. However the physics in GT Sports are a joke. However As it was the case with the Hamilton break test on Seb in Baku the driver behind is at fault in case the car in-front stops or lift off. I don’t think this is a dirty move i think is a pure racing. What happen at the end of the straight is different however again from F1 there is always someone doing the same move as Fraga did on Hazal. I actually am happy to see drivers to do what it takes to win even if it’s not always pretty. Same as what Verstapen does in F1 I guess. So, just to put this in context. There's 2 cars going at 300kph through a flat out corner nose to tail and the one ahead intentionally lifts. What would happen in real life and what penalty would the driver get?
He was saving fuel.
You guys are assuming so many things. "Had Hizal been at 4.9 it would have been a different penalty". "Had Hizal been at 2.9 it would have been a 2 second penalty"
Huh... good to see that the members of this forum have all the absolute information behind the scenes...
Gotcha. yeah I did see that on the post show, although TBH I am not sure that I believe that. I’d like to see the data. It looked like during the race itself he kind of threw his hands up out of frustration. Just my impression. If it truly was a fuel issue then what is the complaining about? If that was the issue then he would have been 2nd no matter what, correct? He said he had to save fuel after short filling on his last stop.
Edit: tree'd

I think they only did that because Lightning gave up, had he not given up I’d bet they would have made the penalty enough for him to win.
I agree 100 % with this. Mika was still on igor's rear end with 2 or more laps i don't remember well. And softer tires. Next time don't give up Mike . You're the man.I love Mik’s Personality just like everyone else, but I’m sorry.....you just can’t let up like that. I just don’t understand that mentality. I just can’t understand Mik letting up out of frustration. This has always been the struggle for him it seems.....just a tiny bit of frustration in some critical moments, etc. The margin for error is so tiny at that level. I can’t even imagine how stressful it is for these guys. Everyone handles pressure differently. Obviously Mik has the pace. I hope to see him on the top step soon. But the blame here isn’t all on Fraga IMHO. Just my two cents.
