Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel

Sorry, if this has already been posted before. It looks like AC Evo (available in early access on PC from 16th January) will have Trueforce support. I was looking forward to this game anyway but I'm really pleased about this.

Maybe not a massive surprise considering it works in ACC but I wasn't taking it for granted.

Finally got my wheel and pedals.

Ordered the lot 11/12/2024 knowing pedals were on back order 19/12/2024
Got wheel and hub on the 21/12/2024
Pedals arrived 13/01/2024

Shame as i really wanted to use it over the holidays but it is what it is.

Big learning curve, i have had my G29 for over 8 years.

Went into first game of GT7 and didn't stop at bottom of Druids at Brands hatch, such as the pressure that was required for the load cell brakes to give any bite.

After a bit of pedal calibration to suit my pressures and and to dial the FF right back to 4 in game (think wheel is max or Whatever the default is)

He wasn't "wrong", he just wants less torque on the wheel than the higher grip cars will provide.

Force feedback levels are commensurate with the level of mechanical grip any car has. Whether that grip is enhanced with tires, suspension, chassis and steering geometry, kinetic and/or aerodymamic weight, material technology or not, the force feedback is still a result of all of those things effects on mechanical grip, felt through all those aforementioned properties and all are variable at any given time while driving.

I'm currently running these settings;

I keep these settings for all the cars. I've been slowly ramping up the Brake Force at the pedal, as my left foot gets used to the increased pressure required. That started out at 15.

Like I said in an earlier post, pick a car as close to something you drive IRL, change the in game settings to as closely match what you remember from that and leave it there. Or, just keep fiddling with settings until you like what you feel. That's why all those settings are available.

I've gone through 8 iterations of changes now. Not sure where I might settle on things. Then, there's PD's penchant for changing the game's FFB capabiliti

Does controller sensitivity actually affect wheel sensitivity? I felt like there was no difference..

Does anyone have experience with G Pro pedal mods? I have my pedals mounted to a rig, but I can’t seem to dial them in to feel comfortable. Despite research and several YT videos on how to set up the pedals properly, the pedals feel too short and my feet hang over them (size 12 shoe). Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, what solutions have worked for you? I’m considering pedal arm extensions or something to lengthen them.

Yep, it was working when we had it on the stand at ADAC. Based on what I tried there, you're going to love it. Wait until you try a race in heavy rain and watch how it changes the track after each lap; genuinely awesome stuff.

Hi @LOGI_Rich, with this global outage of logitech.com paying system, are you still launching the MOMO wheels tomorrow? Honestly at this point I don't even know where I could order it besides on logitech.com. Thanks in advance

We can order tomorrow from the Momo website I believe. It’s funny they listed the wheels a couple months ago at $200. Then For awhile it was 219. And now today it’s $229 lol. Not a big deal, I’m still going to get them, just interesting. I guess they realized they need to add some extra in order to make this endeavor work. lol

"Funny" is that only the Momo US shop has an actual order page, europe or italy just has a "Find a Dealer" button which brings you an endless list of car shops who probably won't serve sim racing gear :D

My attempt at purchasing a Pro wheel continues to not go great.

Talked to customer support yesterday and they were absolutely unwilling to help and refused to give me even the roughest of timeframes for shipment.

Meanwhile I got a mail this morning informing me that the G Pro wheel is back in stock with a link to order which would be fine if I hadn't gotten the same mail a week ago and immediately ordered.

Fun fact - the store page still says shipping in 1 to 2 days...

Dare I say there might be something a bit "shady" going on? My guess is they actually don't have any stock.

I'm gonna give it till Monday and if I don't have any information by then I will cancel my order and buy it on eBay.
Open Paypal controversy and if u're lucky like me , maibe u will receive wheel and refund...
We need to stop logitech scam customers...with their fake shipping time.

@LOGI_Rich what combination of elastomers would you recommend for my pedals if hard mounted to a Playseat Trophy rig/seat? Currently have the following combo installed:

Hello,

I’m talking to those who have tried to "mod" their RS HUB.
I have a Playstation base and a PC HUB.
I would like to customize the buttons (I think they have a diameter of 10 mm).
I am not convinced by the sticker board provided by Logitech.
In my research, the following solution exists :

Stickers

Has anyone tried? Or would you have other solutions?

There's plenty of pictures on the Facebook Pro Wheel groups of people who've taken that approach and they seem happy. There's two reasons we took the approach we did by not covering up the button:

1. The curved surface of the button means the sticker is more prone to getting caught/wearing off.
2. For those who do want to use their wheel on multiple platforms, you're still going to need the existing button labelling that's on the button in some cases (like F1, which does take the effort to convert the usual PC button numbers, so the UI shows the label that's on your actual button).

Thank you very much @LOGI_Rich for this answer and these arguments (which I understand, especially for the curvature of the buttons).

I don’t use Facebook too much, probably an allergy :D

User of GT7, I mainly use 3 buttons and rotatives and I mostly use my memory.

The idea is to personalize and make it even more beautiful.

Thank you also for the good information about the partnership with Momo and availability dates.

The order is launched. Looking forward to having in hand the GT 320 and RACER 290.
