I find this funny at how much people don't know, and kind of makes me mad too for not reading up on what we have.


 
That and tire wear is on and more stuff too...
 
Lol.... Granny shifting, not double clutching like they should, they r lucky they didn't blew a piston rod thru the manifold.
 
Sadly, I have seen a 4 year old drag race better -_- lol. Tire wear, shifting, the car matches. They deserve a medal lol.

It wasn't to trash the video, it was to show

1. How drag racing is badly portayed
2. How many people really take advantage all of our guides
3. Why some people think it's a bad idea to drag race in GT5, why some don't want it supported

Even I was never that bad. Maybe if they didn't have all these guides it would be okay, but no, good racers spend good time creating guides for these people, and look what happens. They don't take any notice of them, and then moan when we don't give them our best tunes. (by "us" I mean all legit tuners). Someone obviously told them that a manual gearbox was faster, but if you have no clue how to use one, then it's pointless. (rant over)

Chill out, IMO isn't text language. Text language is things like r, u, coz and things that look like 12 year olds would text each other, or what I like to call, the tech-impaired older generation who just found our what the Internet is and try to shorten every word :P.. Sorry any older more experienced tuners.

Truthfully, there are a ton of gt5 players that have no idea about this site and therefore have no clue that any sort of tuning guides exist. I applaud them for having fun 👍 .....until I run into them in a room talking mad 🤬 about they have the fastest so and so. :lol:
 
Well their shifting is better than mine... no seriously. Also, a bit harsh to be laughing at someone for having fun ;)

Exactly, sure they suck.. But they ate enjoying the game.. Keep enjoying the game however you want :) whether it be by running laps or Nurburg or shotty shifting down Indy, the game was made to be enjoyed. :)

Just like a bit earlier (Shake and Swara were there) and I had my Mustang out (all having a good time), racing jth and a few others. Out of no where this guy joins the room and targets me, saying I should run his ACR with my Mustang. Swara set him straight and said no one wanted to race an ACR in a Mustang, however I probably would have won anyways. Then he starts talking MAD s***. Like crazy. I told him if you want a challenge you got one. Got my ACR and DEMOLISHED him by I kid you not the entire track. Shake ran him in A CHALLENGER and still beat him. He shut up and left and I started laughing at him lol.

I made great fun of him after defeating him so much, he never said a word, he just left lol. The biggest **** talkers are the biggest noobs lol

I think he thought he sounded like he knew something because we talk about quick and short shifts. So I'm shifting low may have sounded cool. Either way I blew him away.

Not only is this a video game..(lol), but double clutching was done on older cars, electronics carry over everything now so in any modern, or nearly modern car, would have only an idiot double clutch.. And there's a difference between text language and an acronym. Lol means laugh out loud, brb means be right back... Those are acronyms... Text language is like.. U, l8r, and the other ones the other guy mentioned. That's like saying RSVP is texting language lol..
