Looking for a song?Music

Caught a commercial, I don't remember what for and I've been through my DVR to find it with no luck...seems likely it's for a department or clothing store and features a shorthaired woman in a red dress walking down the side of a building having things handed to her (a pair of shoes and then a handbag, as I recall) by people through open windows before reaching the ground and walking off with her beau. Any ideas what the commercial was and/or what the song playing therein was?

It sounds a lot like Icarus by Madeon, but it definitely isn't that, unless it's some form of remix:

I'm having an awful time trying to find this particular song. All I can say about it is that it has what I believe is whistling in the chorus, followed by some words from a guy that sounds like Moby, followed by whistling again. The voice is that of a male singer. It is not high pitched. The song didn't sound like rap, by the way, since many of the answers I found of people asking similar questions were rap songs.

The song is neither of these:

- "Let's go surfing"
- "What part of forever"

I've recorded myself doing my best at whistling the part I remember (today was not one of my finest days, so sorry about the sound).

I hope someone recognizes it.

EDIT: I heard the song from a video someone made for a university project, but since it was a sketch it was not uploaded anywhere, and I don't know the person either to ask it from him/her. The video was about a guy swimming, so perhaps the original music video of the song is about swimming as well, or something similar.

Oh my word, is it this?

Ha, nope, that isn't the one. As I said, it for some reason the song reminded me of Moby, but then again, he isn't my favorite artist and thus I can't say whether the song is his or someone else's.

Also, there weren't any drums or guitars in the whistling section, that I recall.

Oh this is a hard one.

Do you not remember any of the words?

Anyway, my next guess based on stabbing-in-the-dark.

It isn't that one either. :( I wish I remembered at least SOMETHING, even if it was two words to start searching for. Usually just one line is what need to find a song by my own.

I think I remember something just in between whistling and whistling, but that may be just wishful thinking: *whistling* *some words* "so tell me" *whistling*.

One clue I can think of is that the whistling is the music, apart from the lyrics of course. I think the song was addressed to a girl, but not in the sense the girl's name was mentioned in the song. I believe it was at least a "popular" song as well, I'm pretty sure a lot have heard it.

EDIT: FOUND IT!

Was going through the channels on the TV and heard this Adele - Rolling in the deep cover. The clip was some fatso sitting in an armchair with a bunch of chics around singing that song in a hilarious drunk/russian accent. Can't find it for the love of my life.

I'm actually looking for 2 songs

First is a song in black and white video sung by a female singer. It's similar to Kylie Minogue early 00's music. Can't remember the melody.

And the second one

I just remembered a song but I don't know the name of it.
It sounds very 80s, like it's by the Police.

This is how I think the main part goes. "Cause I see you in the night and I know it isn't right."
It's not that exactly because google didn't turn anything up, but I know the song goes like what's written in terms of the flow. I'm pretty sure it was a very popular song as well.

I'm digging the Subaru Vision GT teaser song and I must know what it is and where it's from. The extremely awesome cut version in the teaser trailer:

And today, an extended version with voice and engine sound overlays appeared in the full reveal trailer. Current GTP embedding won't let me add a time code so skip to 2:01 yourself or click here.

Shazam can't find either but I don't want to give up and assume it's a song made for this trailer available nowhere else. I don't know the Japanese music scene much beyond mainstream artists and the GT stuff like daiki kasho so I hope there's a chance someone knows the artist or song? @Danny

I remembered this, I believe 90s song (if not, its early 00s) today and the only line I can remember is something like, "and then we'll take it round and round". I'm pretty sure there's an acoustic guitar and I know the vocalist is male. I'm also pretty sure this song was played regularly on the radio when it first came out. Thanks in advance.

I'll get my first thought out of the way, despite being positive it's wrong.

Ratt - Round and round

Your presumptions are correct, haha. That song is what Google assumed I was looking for, but I'm certain that 1984 is early for what I'm looking for. I can provide a few more unfortunately vague details on the song. The line before the "and then we'll take it round and round" is sung with more intensity, a bit louder. And the "...round and round" line is almost spoken as opposed to sung.

I have the melody in my head, but obviously I can't convey that over text.

EDIT: Just read your response to TB's post.

Song I've been trying to figure out for awhile. It showed up in a WRC 3 or WRC 4 game trailer on the wrc.com site. Unfortunately I can't find the trailer anywhere and it's not on the site anymore. I think the first line of lyrics went somewhere along the lines of "Tell me what you wish for." I could be completely wrong with that though.

That's a weird remix of Carte Blanche - Veracocha:

(NFS Porsche was the 🤬 by the way 👍)

I'll get back to you about the other 90's tune, but I need more info.

OK guys, I just went to an a house music party and I need to ID this track:
