Alrighty now... I'm looking for teh song that's in this video, from the start until about the 3:00 minute mark. It's nu-metal-ish with some -core in it.

I ask here because I know many people around here are pretty savvy on -core, so thanks :)

has to be spelt like that or you'll get an orchestral band!! lol

Does anyone know the backround music to the new Merc C Class advert? Its about the car evolving or changing and the car is white.
The backround music was also used in a TV program called "Mind, Body & Kick Ass Moves"

It's called 'Nessun Dorma' from the opera 'Turandot' by Puccini...

Luciano Pavarotti is most famous for his performance of this song. His version is used in the film 'The Killing Fields' to dramatic effect...
 
Thanks a lot. I have many opera pieces liek the famous Vesti La Giubba, but whenever I hear a new one I'm always wondering what it is. Somehow I was almost sure Chris would know it, but thanks to Serge as well.
 
I recentley heard My Chemical Romances "Teenagers" on the radio and it bigged me cause it sound very similair to a song I've heard before, I just can't for the life of me think what song it is. Wikipedia doesn't seem to give an idea of whether it is similair to or is indeed a cover.

It's not a cover, but one of thier own.

You can't go too far wrong with Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah. I'm actually just checking it out on YouTube right now and I'm shocked to learn that it's a cover version. The original is by Leonard Cohen, and was also covered by the Velvet Underground's John Cale (and k.d. lang too, apparently)... my ex-gf (and just about every girl I've ever met) seems to love the late Jeff Buckley for some reason...

Also, maybe The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" is a phenomenal song, but might be a little on the cliched side... or Ribbon In The Sky - Stevie Wonder (although maybe the lyrics are a bit full on! ;) )
 
Dave Matthews Band also has many teenage love songs that sound really nice, even for the over teenager years.

thanks alot for that! well, even though i disagree with celin dion... she got couple of good songs (lyrics)

i checked out the Jeff Buckley and Stevie Wonder song. About Jeff's song i'm not sure if that really discribes that i'm ready to love her in my eyes. (my english my not be the best to understand that yet :P )

Stevie's song is the right one. It says what i feel like. thats good.

All I can remember is " Pick Me Up (BACK UP : Pick me up) Right after.

I can't get it out of my head, and I need to know the song.

A quick Google search revealed that the song you're looking for is called 'Counterfeit God', by the band you mentioned..
