Prefer tunes for non-race cars. I would like to see some tunes on your favorite street car that will beat a maxed out Bugatti on Daytona, 10 laps.

Zonda Type R and GT by Citroën Concept are both cars I tuned that beat my Veyron's 0'59 in High Speed Ring, I don't know for Daytona.

The Mazda Furaï Concept can beat her too, but my setup is not complete and there's a lot of people that posted it everywhere on this forum, so I won't work on her.

Check out my sig for the setups.

It's going to be tough, as the Veyron's bad handling doesn't phase it on oval tracks. I ran a high 56 second time with a fully modded Veyron at the High Speed Ring. You could try the Mazda Furai though, it's quick, light, and there seem to be a ton of tunes for it online.

The veyron still struggles on the corners on an oval track IMO

Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo - no stock road car can touch this car except the McLaren F1. But you can make a long list of cars that can beat the Bugatti, even on Daytona:

Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
McLaren F1
Nissan GT-R SpecV
Tommy Kaira ZZII
Audi R8 5.2 (and Le Mans Quattro, the concept version)
Viper ACR
Corvette ZR-1
TVR Speed 12
Enzo perhaps

I'm sure there are more! The Veyron is not that fast.

I'm pretty sure my Lexis LFA'10 would eat a Veyron on a proper non oval race track if the Veyron handles as bad as they say. haven't driven one myself yet. The LFA'10 reaches 227mph stock. I tuned mine to 180 though and it still beats my V10 Audi R8 around tracks.

I'd like to see a S2000 beat a Veyron at Daytona.

I have most of those cars. The Bugatti can do 240 plus on that back stretch. I thought maybe my Cadillac CIEN, but it was left in the dust and I was doing 220-230 with it.

loom at a maxed veyrons dyno plot then ask yourself ehat other cars have a torque curve thats flat lined over a grand from like 3k rpm to redline...

the realize "this fool's rollin a honda 2000" bwahahaha

The veyron is no scalpel, or sniper rifle... it is morr of a bazooka, and sledgehammer, a turbo charged steamroller. And to outgun it on open road, you need to bring out some of the best cars in the game, honestly. it's one of the fastest non race cars in terms of acceleration, and a driver can get her to rotate in corners too.

wow all your bugattis slow mine holds 230-250mph around corners and hits 260mph on back straight on daytona i do a 36 second lap easily 32-33 with draft

Ford GT (no stripe) can turn a 36.99 at Daytona (with draft) top speed of 236 (without draft).Burns the tires off before 10 laps and is not to stable in the corners.Still testing some set-ups.This car is wicked fast and can go like hell.I will post when I figure the beast out.

Dude I want to see a video of the Veyron doing 250 at Daytona in the corners. The car handles like a tank in the corners.

Acceleration and in a straight line, not many can beat a fully tuned veyron besides the x1

Now put it through turns, there are many cars that can beat it

I don't know about that. I've taken corners (banked) in my Veyron at almost that speed, no problem. I'll have to give it a whirl. On flat surfaces the cornering is a little rough, but that self-activating wing that pops up at about 100mph helps because you can slow down to about 60-70mph before it goes back down and conceals it's self again

I have a Enzo with 922hp that will smoke a veyron. It runs 37.9xx laps on daytona without any draft. If I get in a good draft down the backstretch I can hit 267mph.

If you tune an Enzo just right, you can beat just about any (production) car on Daytona. You can even dust an RM'd ZR1 and an ACR in a straight-line drag with the right setup.

Depending on your taste, the only downside is that you've gotta slap some aero kits on it. That doesn't bother me, personally, because I have never really been a fan of the Enzo (aesthetically-speaking, engineering-wise I think it's a wonder). One of the wings gives it a very similar profile to the F40 and that's a big 👍 in my book.

If duping is your thing (it's not mine...) a car like the Enzo is a perfect candidate because you can mod/tune one and keep the other stock. I don't think I'm alone in saying that some cars in this game are best left they way their engineers set them up to be.

I tune all my cars, I can't help it. It's probably not the smartest thing to do from a racing and performance standpoint, but it sure is fun to feel the changes I've made to the cars. :)

Only two non-racecars that I have so far can approach my Bugatti on the straights. My fully tuned Enzo and ACR Vipers. I was actually shocked at the Viper running with it as its heavier then the Enzo but just as fast. I didnt test them on Daytona. I did however test em on the Ring Type V. The Bugatti in the hands of my Best Bob, J. Nardi did an 8.08 and hit 240mph on the long back straight. The Viper hit around 235mph IIRC and the Enzo hit 231mph. Thats before the first bend on the back straight. the Bug is faaast.

BTW I MISS THE TEST TRACK :(

im just saying. but my veyron does 255 with out draft on the back stretch and i got it to do 273mph with a draft. i run a average 37.2xx-37.3xx second laps without draft. but i never played with the suspension yet. my best lap was a 34.715 with a lot of draft tho. but i would like to get a different car. do you recomend a enzo? i need something with good cornering

Huh? How could tuning your car be dumb? :dunce:
