I tried to find a race last night but all I got were kids dropping f-bombs and driving in reverse...............:grumpy:

I joined in on a GTP room and I guess they didn't know me so they left, then changed requirements for the race, dont blame them but I want to have a clean fun race or group, but I am a newbie to the whole scene so I dont know the protocol.:nervous:

add me and lets get a nice group of newbies together tonight and most nights to race. I'll be on by 9:30/9;45 east coast time........................

Oh, I linked up my headset and all but I dont know if it worked, I guess we can see tonight how that works as well. :)

usually on........pacific standard time (if im working ill be playing anytime after 6pm til late)

style: clean racing, grip and time attack

courses: mountain (touge style) type courses like deep forest (and reverse), trial mountain, tsukuba and laguna those 4 probably my favs

cars: 200-350hp cars (super high hp cars dont interest me so i wont be joining in on 600hp+ races anytime soon)

note: ever hear of the term "shake and bake" from the movie talladega nights?? well if u ever want to catch up to the front of the pack and im in front of u on the straight. line up and draft me. i scratch ur back and u scratch mine. but once we're getting close to the finish your on your own

Just want good clean racing and no messing, am new to online racing though like racing fair and respecting rules and regulations on the track. Mostly like racing hot hatches m= and anything else up to about 400bhp mostly jdm stuff. Please add me as have had enough of online races with idiots already........:grumpy::grumpy::grumpy:

I've started a site to hopefully get some people that want to have organized races and keep a season long championship. also some special events and other areas of the site. It's my first attempt at it and I know others exist (probably more extravagant) but it's what me and some of my friends want to do. I'd like to have a once a week championship series race and some special events thrown in. I need peoples opinions and feedback, good or bad. So hit up the site and check it out, leme know what you think. if you like it join it so you can vote on what i've got up and comment. also send me a private message here or on my site with your psn id for me to add you. hopefully in a week, maybe two ill have some serious racers (no bumper cars) and get this thang started.

I should be a good host for race nights as i have the new superhub capable of 100meg down and 10 meg up

I would consider myself an above average racer.

You'll typically see me racing with racecars such as a Castrol Tom's Supra, Calsonic Skyline etc. I enjoy racing other cars such as Viper's, Corvette's, and Ferrari's. I also love racing karts. Be warned, if I unleash my GTR GT500 Stealth Model, you're doomed. :)
 
I have started up a site to host a gt5 league. I know there are some others out there but I couldn't find any I like so I started one of my own. Already have 6 official members with others hitting me up every couple hours. The site looks nice, clean and simple. I have added a forum section today for easier communication with members. The league will feature a structured championship season of races based on points, some special events (ferrari challenge, rally, race cars only, maybe carts, etc), a photos section with voted on photo of the week, month, year, a videos section for epic crashes and awesome finishes. Also I have a records section for fastest lap times and other various records we decide to hold. There will be virtual "trophies" if you will kind of similar to fantasy football. I started it just two days ago so there will be more to come. If you're interested in checking out the site and joining, hit up the link at the bottom of this post. I guess I should mention serious racers only, I'm 28 and don't get my kicks from going reverse around the track.

also, if you wanted in and i haven't contacted you sorry, i've been in alot of threads and pretty busy outside of gt5. so please send me a private message here on this forum or just add me on psn with 'join league' in the subject line. my psn id is 'swervesauce' same as on here. it's open to everyone who wants to race seriously, no wreckers, and if we get more than 16 we will either do qualifying rounds or division, however it is voted upon. I've put alot of effort into organizing the site, with different pages for records and made a youtube channel.

I don't really play online that much but I will soon and I need some good people to help me get better at online racing. Also maybe we could do item trades and compare stats and stuff like that as well. I race 200-400hp cars on semi complex tracks like ssr 7 and 11.
