this car is insanity. i've loved f1 ever since i was a little kid and i love reading books/watching documentaries/watching races/reading articles... anything f1. the senna content in this game gave me a whole new appreciation for what these cars are and how talented the people are who race them. in the brands hatch tt i kept crashing and i thought to myself: "jesus... if that was real life.... dead." i did that about 40 times before getting silver. i still haven't gotten the gold in either tt. i wonder how many times i will virtually kill myself in this seasonal... rough estimate... a lot.

I don't understand much about car setups, but I just put camber angles to 0, downforces to maximum and max speed from gearbox to 340 km/h. With this "setup" I got 1:52 on first try. Can go second or 2 faster with better lap I think. ABS 1 other aids off.

Edit: Yep can do 1:50 with this because I was just having 2 second lead over my 1:52 ghost, but failed in the final corner ^^

Golded it first time with a 1:54.664, though I can't help but think that that was thanks in large part to Praiano's brilliant 97T tune.

Wash your mouth out and show some respect for one of the great drivers, competitors (and human beings) in the F1 world

You will drive the events or else..!

Are you talking about that great human being that as world champ at age 26, dumped his wife and had a 15 year old girlfriend? Great human being? He should have been in jail

Got a 1.49.484 after 5 laps, not to bad for an old man and there is more time out there for me yet.
Many thanks to Praiano for the excellent tune.

You're not the first to have been aided by Praiano's brilliant tune for this seasonal

Got bronze on my first completed lap, at 1:59.7xx. Silver very next lap, and then after a few more I have gold and I'm sitting at 1:55.440 or something. Incredibly easy compared to the Brands Hatch one
Was hitting 203 MPH on the straight after Eau. Don't shun me but I put ABS at one...

You guys are killing me! The first challenging seasonal in a long time, and I'm out sailing with my wife for the next 10 days. I hope I'll have time to win gold before registration is over. And I'll have no log in bonus!

Edit: I am NOT complaining!

Golding this race motivated me to beat the final Aryton Senna challenge which I just did now by about 50 milliseconds... Senna was not slow!

Improved my laptime, now positioned as 501st globally, .2xx behind Greycap. Time was 1'51.xxx

Try the gearbox settings from Praiano's setup they make a bit of difference

After many, many, MANY spin-outs and a few fits of rage, I managed a 1:47.294 with the DS3, currently 55th. I just can't get the power down in this thing! However, I'd like to thank Weider for sharing the tune, as it gained me about 5 seconds from the stock setup I was running. Definitely going to run Praiano's in a bit!

When exiting the corner in 2nd, floor it until the wheels start to spin, then shift into 3rd and let the wheels spin all they want to. That's what I do anyway.

Congrats and respect for all who won gold or got in the top leaderboard , I find this event is so much frustrating , the car is hard to drive for me, circuit very technical and demanding, especially that I always drive with automatic transmission, please would you give some tips how to accelerate properly, I keep spinning at sharp turns, and when hitting the gas hard, also is it possible to gold it with automatic Trans ? I found some under steer in the car, how to avoid that , and slide around like it easily seems in the top players replays?

Set up:
Using praiano63. Tune
Traction. - off
Stability - off
Abs - 1
Steering type. : controller stick
Skid recovery - off

Just take it easy coming out of turns. First, just try to do a few clean laps in a row. Completely ignore your lap times. Once you feel that you can stay on the track, try to improve a little bit. Not multiple seconds a lap, just a little bit. And keep doing it until you reach your goal:)

So far five people

Using Praiano's tune would be a start, that's easily three seconds off if you were previously using the stock setup.

@Mini Stiggy Thanks a lot for the input, I'll do that, if I manage to control the Lotus beast , it will be easy to keep lapping, I hope to find a way to enjoy this event, and find a pleasure in it.

So far 2:03 , got silver, still long way to go ,I changed traction to 1, It made more stable and fun, but slow to accelerate, I'll try tomorrow again with traction to. 0 and learn how to control it properly, it's too bad that they don't pay credit for long hours of Lapping which doesn't reward for time played.

@Sadioki : If you're using a DS3, here is some tips:
-Start with praiano's tune, add max downforce and adjust the final gear so that the top speed is about right (that is quite important as the powerband is not so wide)
-LSD 12/8/5
-add front toe-out and rear toe-in, about -30/+50 should do it.
