Because I crashed. :ouch: Then the gap was maintained for a few laps before I decided I'd ease off and not crash as Carracer wasn't too far back.

True excuses.

I couldn't catch you unless you made a mistake so I backed off a bit to avoid shredding my tyres or making a mistake. :)

BTW, why did it look like carracer nearly spun at the exit of the final corner of the final lap? Yup, I saw him moving erratically-looking on the map. :sly:

He may well have done as I gained about a second on him in the last lap and I only did a 1'47. :nervous:

I drifted the last corner for show.
Just as a salute to the FIA race here at GP/D, when I "drifted" my Corvette on rims just to save the car from crashing.

Hehe.

Watch the Race Edit of FIA GT1 @ Nurb if you don't know what hes on about.

Great job Carbon! hopefully i'll make the rest of the races now so you won't have to make all the points yourself (let's hope dax and nelly misses more races though). Love to see that blue and white car up front.

Bad news guys, I can't make this race every weekend anymore :(
In my time zone the race starts at 10AM and that time is getting harder to make.
I do wish I could make it but it looks like more and more that I can only race in FIA and FMSC.

Oh no, my biggest rival in the championship at the moment won't be able to make many of the next races. :D

No, It'll be sad if you can't make the races- I've had a few good battles with you both this and last season. 👍

Good job next season will be at 4PM!!

Even if it means a greater chance for me to be close to the top it's sad to hear that carracer won't make it to all the races. Good drivers is a good thing to have in a race series.

Don't be too certain, i'm pretty good at screwing up my races and then my team probably won't beat yours :P (if carbon doesn't start beating you that is..)

I imagine if you can keep up some mid pack finishes and Carbonox stays towards the top then I won't be able to keep up as I don't imagine my recent success will continue for much longer. :nervous:

At least this time I won't have "accident ballast" so I shouldn't be multiple seconds off the pace now. :P

Despite the track's occasional... unpleasance, I'm going for another podium, preferably ahead of that flower pine cone guy.

I recommend not having extra ballast yes ^^ now hopefully i won't spin at monaco and thereby have a much greater chance of finishing in the top half.. It would be interesting to compare my quali results with race sometime. don't think i ever hav advanced, only gone backwards.

Never!

Although anything can happen at Monaco- if I qualify badly it will take time to get back through the field.
