Wow, I didn't think this would happen, but I can't make it to this race unfortunately, sorry for late answer, besides I haven't even practiced yet :( May the best driver win!
I'm picking someone up from work, that's the reason I won't make it.

Damn it!

Well, thats one less fast driver to beat I guess...

Me and my teammate need a new pit crew, ours were'nt so flash!
Kept making mistakes too, especially in the chicane. LowZiKai and Marunda can attest to that Im sure.

Had an awesome race. Great racing, Dax. 1-2 finish for our team, and had fun doing it.

The reason I lost touch with you in the first part of the race was because I continuously pounded my car into the turn 1 wall. I just couldn't get it right. Once I fixed my brake point, I probably shouldn't have been, but I was very happy when I saw you car clip the chicane twice. I wasn't exactly jumping up and down at the concept of finishing 6 seconds back with no one to race.

Pit stops were interesting. I'm pretty sure my car held you up in the pits. That was kind of equalized when I clipped the chicane on my first lap after my out lap.

It was great running nose to tail for those final laps and racing so clean. When you consider the pace we're running and that we actually swapped positions a couple of times, I'm amazed our cars didn't touch for almost all except two laps. I spent the last laps driving completely through my mirrors. Probably why I clipped the wall on exit .

Great race, Dax. Well-deserved win 👍. I'm very happy with my second (obviously).

How about next weekends then? :scared:

No, I for sure can't make next weekend or the week after that, I got a really lucky break just to make this race.

You summed that race up. I really enjoyed fighting with you mate, the cleanest battle I've ever had with anyone around Monaco.

The only real contact was bumper to bumper, and thats quite unavoidable in slow corners. Two wide at Pool/Rascasse was awesome

The car is just narrow and slow enough that it worked.

Yeah. You did well to stick it out around the outside and maintain the lead! 👍

Just going through the replay, it's amazing how close I was getting to the wall trying to catch you... I will upload some pics.

Not a bad race for me considering my pace. Had some bad luck early on as people got a bit aggressive and dropped to 7th.

Got into some clean air and started pounding consistent low 1'52s in and quickly caught our Singaporean friends and overtook them as they made mistakes.

Sumo was next in my sights and I caught him within a few laps. I got a run out of turn 1 and overtook him going up the hill.

Within a few laps I caught a squabbling Carbonox and Willie. I got great drive out of the last turn and overtook Carb. on the pit straight. I wasn't quite alongside Willie into turn1 so pulled out of the move and as luck would have it he smashed the wall on exit allowing me to cruise past with Carbonox in tow.

From then on I just settled into my pace and pulled out a nice gap from the next guy along, setting my fastest lap of 1'51.6xx in the process.

I attempted to stay out long as I had pulled in Dax by 5 seconds (16 down to 11) but my tyres were too worn and I probably should have pit earlier.

As I exited the pits, to my horror, Willie cruised by. I thought I'd taken care of him earlier but his early stop had worked out well. I began to close the gap, although only a few tenths a lap and It looked as though I wouldn't retake my third place before the finish but again, with 3 laps to go, he hit the outside wall into turn 1. I passed him going up the hill and then just made sure I didn't make any mistakes going to the finish.

Tsukuba next. :yuck: Not my favourite track in the world.
