How are you guys so fast. I thought I was ok but am pooh lol. Had a quick go best I could manage was:

2'08.590 | AdZVaughan

Any tips on set up lines etc.

The gearing is rubbish, so try to be a smooth as possible.
Don't attack the corner, embrace it :P

Good lad! Can't wait to see this lap when i get back home.

The way you do it is download the attachment and unzip it on your pc. Then go into the folder and find the folder called "BCExxxxxxxblahblah009". Copy THAT folder to a USB stick, then take it to your PS3 and copy it into the save game directory. Should then be viewable on a GT5P replay theatre.

Only thing I changed to the DC tune is steering angle to 30.
The drawback of setting it to 30 is that recovering from a crash takes a longer time :)

Hey mate, there is a LOT of time to be found in the correct gearing. Try the quite excellent DutchCustoms tune here....

Also if you upload a lap one of the many members can have a look and offer some fruits of their wisdom. Keep at it mate and if you have the time, come and race in the Evora cup event because I've learnt loads just following other drivers.

Is anyone able to get Bollocks' replay to work? I saved it, but it doesnt show up in the replays...

I messed a bit with the gears and I'm sure I can get a laptime at least 0.3 seconds faster.
Did a 5.828 after completely messing up the first 2 corners.
 
Just had a few laps, lost a little time @ Degner 2 and the Hairpin, rest of the lap was'nt to bad. Be hard for me to break into the 2'04's I think.

First time I've driven this... nicely balanced, but has a bit too much grip vs power for my liking and the gearing is trully dreadful!

Incredible, both you and Stotty who just drove this car today! Bollox, I can't view the other file you uploaded, can you add a replay of this lap and only zip the BCE folder instead of the whole PS3 folder? Cheers mate.

Those are all very awesome times! 👍 Funny thing with the DC tune is that it's not actually optimized for hot lapping, but for online racing. I'm sure you can squeeze out more if you change the settings. :)
 
I presume Bollox downloaded his copy from the PSN.
If you have a bluray version you won't be able to view it, thanks to PD.
 
Ah, rubbish - yeah I have the Bluray version. Anyone with the disc version doing a 2'05 want to upload their lap? Pretty please?

The first corner isn't good, but all the rest is better than my other replay.

2.05,834 for me. I can still shave a few tenths from that, but there's no way I can shave off a full second and enter a 2.04,xxx time !!! Great laps, Bollocks and hyper! 👍
 
Ok some more laps after racing the Evora in Torc and realised my car from last night was slightly different? turns out that last night I never noticed my TCS was on 3 and abs on 3 also :confused: took them off and improved very quickly with a tweak of the gears too :ouch:

I tried to get some race time with others but only met GTLM's .
hopefully the time difference won't screw it up

Mr P, JvM, Theewar, dammit you guys are rinsing this!! Very very impressed with those laptimes boys. Thing is, I'm quite sure you can all improve as well if your race pace is anything to go by. JoeNinety, that's a great laptime for someone who just started using the car, you'll be in 2'05s shortly I'm certain.

Hun, I am pretty sure you'll be in the low 05s soon too mate, since you practically win every race you're in :)

I improved an absolutely MINISCULE amount last night, but it did move me one or two places up the board.....for now!

That's a "well-intentioned" (do you say this in english?) distortion of the truth! With the late nighters sometimes I win, but most times it's either mr geez, JvM or yourself. :)

btw, I forgot to mention that I'm using DC's tune (only changed - slightly -gear ratios), so when you next edit the first post add that to my time, please.
