Will that still there is some motivation for GT5?

Yes, we have a teacher in unusual, always had.....

or we can call it "creator wave HYB" đź‘Ť

Oh, I see, you mean the one that spring the trend of hybrid. That 3000HP Civic  No body teach me how to do it though, but I have a lot experience with directly editing save, so all I need was compare function. I think I got all of car data portion mapped. From above the paint to below the steering and multiplier.

By the way guys, I just tried to " hybrid" my game and it worked fine. It seams that you can nolonger paint, or change a cars body. Everything else seams to work fine.

Did you do a engine swap?

After reading all those discussions with the "real" swaps. I mean what is real for PD? I don't think they don't know much about cars. Maybe we will get all this functions in GT6 and they just patched it again and again for making GT6 very interested. Because if all the things are able for some hackers or guys with a laptop it isnt something new in GT6. What i want to say with that is that not so much people will buy GT6 if all the functions already in GT5. And if you think you were PD. You would patch it too for making GT6 mostly intresting.

Hope you understand my english because i am a gramma nazi lol

Ok, just tried to hybrid again and it did not work. Crashed the game with a black screen. Good thing I always backup. Anyways, you cant swap your cars anymore, but you can still mod your money/lvl/ocd/ucd. And because i just bought a wheel last week, i think it would be fun to do all the a-spec again (without grinding for money at least).

what do you mean by you have almost mapped everything? do you mean that you figured out the changes in 2.15, or that you have done that in the past?

I mapped the whole car data - from their location and value to what the game represent, so in essence, I know each data location for each car setup ( all suspension values, LSD, transmission ratios including final and reverse gear, downforce, turbo, supercharger, boost, power limiter, ballast, then parts that comprises a car, multiplier, paint, mileage, number of switches, steering angle, oil status etc ) I did all this since before 2.11 :D All by myself, mainly in direct save edit, as I don't use apps. I also can extract/translate replay file information to ascertain if a car is hybrid or not :)

2.15 changes is minimum when comparing from 2.14 hybrid car data and a reset 2.15 version. Looks like PD making stricter check on car parts when a car being displayed and entering tuning page. While some settings changed outside the game ability, apparently still untouched - like custom ratio on stock transmission stays intact in 2.15.

I'm just waiting for GT6 now :)

I have one last thought about the situation. GT6 should come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee or return for a full refund. Make it a 1 year guarantee. That way if after a year of patches and DLC if you don't like the game you get your money back. I would even pay the postage to send it back to Kaz in Japan.

I have my pre-order waiting and we already know it will not be complete when released. They could have used the time they spent on 2.12, 2.14 & 2.15 to get GT6 closer to being a finished product. Sadly there isn't a racing game that comes close to GT. I do admit that Forza gives GT a good run for the money but it still isn't Gran Turismo.

Yea, everyone will return it for the 60 bucks then go buy it at year old game price. Bit silly.

If you hybrid / mod a car can you bypass the "prohibited tuning " when racing online ? Or dose the game still recognize that the car is different from standard ?

They fall under the normal PP settings. So if you build a car to race in 550PP, it will be in the 550PP range. This is the case for the realistic ones.

For example... If you had took a BMW CSL (which is the most common "try hard" vehicle out there) and swapped a different body onto it, it would basically be the same thing as racing a BMW CSL but with a different body.

So there isn't really a true advantage to it because the PP system kept these cars in check.

I think he was asking if you could mod the car outside of the game and not alter anything on the tuning sheet, and would said car pass through a tuning prohibited restriction.

To answer that question, I tried it with a few of my street cars which are stock aside from an engine swap and they didn't pass the stock cars only restriction.

The main reason behind the update i speculate is that GT6 is written off the same core coding and they dont want it to be able to be manipulated outside the console.I have been tooling around have noticed the changes in coding, and just dont feel like trying to crack it.

Good, Because your "Hybrids" were ridiculous. :grumpy:

It isn't, actually.

Did you see that there's snow when you run on the 24h of Nurburgring track on night with rain on?
There's been a trend of that happening around this time of year. I remember the first time encountering it at Spa the first week it released as DLC.

Buggered if i know what they did with the maintenance and update, but lost friend lists, changes to PP and all of a sudden, instability of the online lobbies.

Just hope that our wait for GT6 doesn't disappoint with the same issues we are faced with at the end of GT5s life.... :(

Bit of a bummer I can't use any modded cars in this next patch. I was hoping with GT6 coming out I could just play around with cars in GT5. The 1,000,000hp cars got very boring, very fast, however realistic hybrids and replicas added a whole new scope to the game. Think about it would you rather have 50 MX5's that are different trims or one MX5 that you could fit with a Chevy V8, a Honda VTEC etc etc.

With any luck my clean gamesave will work on my new PS3!

^ I'm right there with ya

Hadn't updated since the one that enabled wheels on standard cars.

I just want a better range of height adjustment. Don't care much for swaps, as the only cars I drift have more than capable engines. I really hope you can slam (relatively) in GT6, otherwise it's gonna be me, red stripe, and code....on release day.
