Alas! We look forward to your dropping by whenever you might be able to. There's the Sunday rounds as well, if you should chance by a little weekend driving time.

On the bright side, Nov/Dec is right around the corner -- holy heck, is it really September already? Who authorized that!? -- and perhaps our Leader In Absentia will be able to return to the track as well before too long.

Ah man, that looks like a lot of fun, but I'm close to being over-committed on race series as it is: helping run this, and running in the Zero Cup, Parity Club, and Super GT. If I get some more free time, I'll have another look at it.

Good races today. I got a little frustrated in the first round due to a dreadfully bad combo of car and track but I did keep my sense of humour about me, to be sure. I just sort of... gave up after a while. Letting go of the wheel on the straights, halfheartedly steering with one hand through the corners, etc etc. With one exception, every corner left the poor engine stranded outside of any useful power, and usually every corner came before that powerband could be reached -- it was actually fairly amusing. The perils of grabbing a car without testing it first...

Results! Ah, but first a new minor rule, which is:

Whoo whoo I'm so glad there's racing for me to return to. Hopefully next week!!

Hope all is well, and I'm glad to see everyone's been having a good time with the races... though VERY JEALOUS!!!!!!!

I had got on to play just a tad last weekend for about an hour, just because the spouse had it opened up to play, so I jumped in for a tad.

I'm been soooooooo busy.
I wish I had some interesting tale of summer escapades to point to explaining my absence. But I don't. It's mostly nothing very interesting, just pesky real life stuff to deal with! I haven't even had a chance to do much of anything I would usually do, this summer.

And also, it came to the point I needed to give up my elderly Celica. So I've been without a car for some months (making things a bit more pesky, though luckily I don't need a car for work right now).
So I've been shopping for a car all summer, because I'm a penny pinching nickel squeezer and also rather particular about the particulars of my car needs & desires!
I have friends & family who do NOT understand this plight, and have thought me crazy. Like just go buy a car, they all say!
But I think here, I'll get some sympathy for my lengthy search for the right car!!

And so that's my big news, that I've bought a car yesterday finally. And getting that and some other things out of the way now, should free up some of my time.





Looking forward to seeing all my favourite racing pals (present and future favourites ) on track very soon!!
