@watermelon punch Great to hear from you! That Subaru's paint job is suitably funky, I think. I've seen a couple of those in the wild over the years, but quite unusual and unique. Hope it treats you well.

Duh, I really hoped to finish one season without any missed races (especially because it had started so well for me ) but Nurb in the R33 started testing my eyes. I believe my gaming monitor maybe does not support GT6's 60fps output. When the speed and grip goes up my eyes start hurting. RedBulls are the worst in that sense. Feel sick just thinking about them... I would not call it flickering but something nasty going on. Felt sick and dizzy
I had Zero chance of protecting my lead anyway. The Parity rating has started to work against me and the tracks, especially Nurb has never agreed with me.
I do regret I missed the last race. I usually enjoy racing at Suzuka.
My wife returns from visiting her parents and University studies are in full speed again so I will be absent more again. I hope to keep the Sundays at least!
All my Track Day cars are purchased & oil changed, thanks to my "personal shopper"...
I'm going to be out of town in the morning but should be back by race time. 👍
And I will be helping lower everyone's funkiness.
Because not only haven't I had much seat time in Gran Turismo cars... In "real life" I've only driven a few miles maybe once a month for the past 6 months!! (My personal shopper doubles as my chauffeur. )
RE: tskuba extra chicane
I remember peeps were talking about using that patch of track. It's excellent. And that joker-lap idea is brilliant! Such an entertaining potential strategic aspect to dial into the race. I love it!!!
(I may not be so enthusiastic after I'm bested because of it. )
@Cu3e
Regardless of your monitor, some tracks are just better than others as far as graphics/lighting issues.
If this is a new issue, I'd also think about checking your human equipment. Make sure you're not coming down with something or other. After all, school is back in session. So begins the flu season.
Ear infections, sinus infections, flu, colds, water retention, dehydration, thyroid malfunction, lots of things can contribute to dizziness & feeling wonky in certain situations. I've learned about that the hard way!
At least you you don't have to first rule out menopause!
@watermelon punch
It is not a new thing. It is what has kept me from enjoying some car/ track combos since beginning. I have always wondered how anyone enjoy RedBulls or some other racing cars. At nurb I noticed there were both vertical movement from the bounciness of the car there and the horizontal movement from very responsive steering. Then I had the driving line on to reduce mistakes. That also added some blinking. That is what I turned off first but it wasn't enough.
I did some Time Trials earlier without issues so it is not lasting problem I believe 👍
One (1) car list & track combo for a Parity Race (long track or heavy damage variety).
One (1) car list & track combo for a standard shuffle mixer race.

Well, you might have missed the overall points due to your unfortunate retirement, @Cu3e , ( ) but you still get winner's prize picks
For reference, these are the lists to be used for the next two series:
Series 30, Sundays
Lists to be used: Track Day Specials, Legends, and Traffic.
Series 31, Wednesdays
Lists to be used: Hot Hatches, Classics, and Low Power.
Prize picks which do not use these lists will be used in the following series, 32 and 33. 👍
Need more practice on the Tskuba w/ chicane. It's trickier than I expected. I kept going too wide too late into it. Pretty dicey when side-by-side. Sorry @LongbowX ! I thought you were going tight, and I bet you thought I was taking the joker lap, and we ran out of room. Definitely have to figure that out more for next time!
Great twist. It's like having another track.
Actually, I was just trying to get by haha. Going side-by-side certainly is dicey though. I was hoping you would take the joker, but I think I left enough room if you didn't. Good fun though.
...Aaaand my parity is back down to 4. Tacom08 a 7!? Sheeeeeeesh.
Feels good to be back on top, doesn't it? What's amazing is that most of you are pretty close to your All Time Funkiness, based on all races you did (It is now in the Parity Diagram in a new column named Phonqueness). We decided to just include the last 20 races in the funkiness calculation, so that you have a chance to change it even if you did gazillions of races and because we feared it would go to the same value for most, but that isn't the case. Maybe i have to rethink the whole procedure, as the funkiness seems to wobble too much...

I think the algorithm is spot on. It's self-regulating and in my opinion the funkiness is very accurate in representing driver ability. I also find it actually preferable that it fluctuates a little up and down - otherwise we would have no variety in parity races at all anymore in what we drive.
