Makeshift Shuffle - No Tuning RacesOpen

Yes I wanted to do that but I keep forgetting. I kind of find it weird that I'm pretty much the only one on my friends list other than watermelon who likes racing simulators :yuck:.

The weekend GT6 launched, I saw 52 of my friends online...playing GT6. 👍

When I started GT5, daddyo's comment was the same as me for awhile. Add like @Phouchg suggested above, if you are looking to improve, race often, race with friends, join several groups. Despite my bias, there are more than one or two who will give you the chance to improve, and the people who will help you along the way.

No matter where you race or join, focus on clean racing to improve, spec or tuned, or low power. Clean speed for a faster world. Geez, sounds like a tagline for some electric car racing series...

I started a new profile for GT6, so it only has five friends on it. I would be happy to have another if you want another yourself. Send a friend request to my GTsail9 profile.

See you on the tracks!

Sup wm! count me in this afternoon.
Black Raven/Salsa Red.
Also do you tune for the time trials wm? Cause your time seems stock.

I'm supposed to be tuning????

Sorry you can't make it gaze
:(

The sign-up is in post #3 - to look at.

Also, and I forgot to stipulate in post #2 - but monza will be the default weather setting (ie: not raining)

Low Power Cars
Handling Peculiarities

(and let me know if anyone else has something to add to this - these are just my own observations but I thought it could help peeps who haven't test driven the cars yet)

Nissan PAO '89
don't mess up before a hill - you need the momentum

Volvo 240 GLT Estate '88
long back end can swing around after you get understeer
benefits from shifting a bit late (riding up into the red a bit)

Nissan SKYLINE Sport Coupe (BLRA-3) '62
bit wallowy - like most Skylines - can be a bit wiggly straightening out after a turn

Mini Cooper 1.3i '98
tad of throttle lift oversteer - might surprise you if you're expecting understeer

Mazda Autozam AZ-1 '92
oversteer big time on some turns - feather the throttle when the car gets unsettled
benefits from shifting early

I'm not expecting Sylar, because he hasn't raced in awhile.
So we can probably take 2 more drivers today.

It helps alot, for the VW time trial, I used full weight reduction and carbon hood, unadjusted cusomizeable suspension and lsd, tran final set at minimum and top speed slider at 180. No power parts. Got me 1:26.8s. :)
I dont know why but I drive better by myself then in a pack of cars lol.

Simple there aren't other cars to get in your way and be careful around
So true. Forgot to mention I set the ratios to be like a drag race trans, short gears alot of shifting but super fast.

Comfort Soft Tires
(you will need to purchase comfort softs for most of these)

You can get all the cars, the tires, & oil changes for around $650,000 credits or less.
Here are the after-oil change pps

And a tip for those who don't know this... (because I didn't learn this until I had the game some weeks!)
You can take one car to the Pit Service, and then hit the menu (start?) button, and change cars in the pit service.
Makes it much faster to change the oil on so many cars.
When I'm doing this... I buy cars and "get in" them when I buy them, then when I go to the Pit Service, they're all at the top of the garage list.

My game feels totally fudged up today.. crazy loading times in the main menu, is it my game or is it something with psn?
