Big thanks to Watermelon for the race analysis and posting all the results - you really put a lot of time and effort into this. I really enjoyed Friday's racing but apologize guys for a) choosing the wrong car, and b) for the bumps that was responsible for. I need to calm down when racing. I would love to race this Friday and hopefully Saturday, and I promise to race with more sportsmanship.

I should be able to make it tonight, but only from about halfway through, and if there's a free place at that point...

I never use this word, but the final Nissan Be-1 race at La Sarthe has "EPIC" written all over it :D

Please note:
I have again updated the Track Boundaries Directory with additional tracks & details.

As always, if you have any questions about any other tracks, or anything in particular on tracks already in the directory, please feel free to ask, so that we can make this directory very helpful.
The more comprehensive we make that directory, the more chances that we can all be on the same page, and not getting annoyed with each other about where everybody's putting their wheels in the races. :) 👍

In particular, I have addressed the Ascari chichanes in detail.
Not because we're racing there today - we're NOT scheduled to race it at the moment... but may be at some point.
I took the time to address this because the topic of Ascari came up in the Zero Cup thread.
And this Track Boundaries Directory might be used by other clubs, leagues, etc.
I will certainly be using it in the VCRC races.

I think its time for me to retire from this compition. After the comment @watermelonpunch made, it appears my voice/opinion is not important. I love how destkeys or what ever his name is comes in, just to shove me off track for a win. And I get yelled at. Excuse the F out of me! Have fun yall!

@ryzno You have a right to make all the complaints you want, including reporting on incidents you were the victim of. She was not "yelling" at you because she does not value your complaints, she was because it disrupts the room and there is nothing she can do about it. At least at the moment. There will be reviews of whatever you feel was unjust, and the people will be held accountable - including time away from the series for repeated offenses. I'm sorry that you feel that way, your voice is important.

@KingKlingeling That's a shame, but it's important to get your rest! Don't want to fall asleep at the (virtual) wheel.

Regardless, im tired of being curtious to poeple, just to get the short end of the stick. And not to mention being stuck behind a wall of cars. I get out of the way when I see a faster car coming. Me no 3 wide to block the whole straight, heaven forbid I go off a little to pass a car that cant do over 85 by himself, while im in a car thats incoming at 100. Again im tired of being curtious just to lose every race. It gets old. Enough of my boo whooing, Catch yall whenever I decide to race again.

@ryzno Being a victim of an incident - especially multiple in an event - is frustrating. I definitely have an understanding of that. It's not all based on skill, there is a big chunk of luck too. And sometimes that luck just doesn't go your way. But it usually doesn't stay that way. No one can win every race anyway. Being respectful and enjoying the race with the people around you is the important part. I hope you feel better about things later.

From the OP:

General Driving Rules & Guidelines:
  • All race incidents or rule violations witnessed should be reported for the good of the club. Otherwise there is no way to penalize, reprimand, or correct the violator, or even for the race director or stewards to necessarily even know about it. In case of an incident, please review the replay before drawing conclusions about the incident. You may report the incident privately via the forum, with as much detail as you can recall about the time, location, and drivers involved. Reporting your own incident may result in lesser penalty than if it is found by chance or reported by another driver, so it behooves you to report all incidents you are involved in, regardless of whose fault it was, if anybody's. Do not make general reports/complaints to the club thread, as this may lead to misunderstandings & ill feelings, particularly if something turns out not to be what you thought it was.
Doesn't help much being annoyed in general in the thread because that just means everyone will think it's them and feel accused and maybe defend themselves and that creates a bad vibe in the thread.

So give a report to stewards and they will give out a general warning if they think everyone should get their act together. :P
When someone makes general complaints, people either get defensive in the thread... or the contact me privately worried that it's them being talked about!!! :( :ill:
More often than not... the guilty party is not even paying attention to the generalized gripes in the thread.
And the innocent parties are the ones reading, and wondering if it's them, and if people are mad at them. :nervous:
Please remember, sometimes when you type things on a forum, especially short... the tone/attitude can come across all wrong!! :ill:

And, as always if an incident involves ME... you may report it to me anyway, and I will give it to someone else to review... or you can ask another participant to review and make a report to me about my driving. 👍
LongbowX has no problem criticizing the race director (which is good), so feel free to ask Longbowx about race reviews of me, if your problem has been with me.
If he was involved too, then we ask someone else to review, and so forth.
(Just want to make it clear that I'm not above the rules.)

No penalties! :gtpflag:

No, there were incidents... But I thought in light of the fact that this was our last ALL-luxury event, and a lot of us aren't actually that great in the Luxury cars (they are a handful - and I'm including myself!)..

that we make a fresh start.

From now on, we will use at least 2 different lists per event... so that if one of the lists is full of cars somebody really dislikes... then they won't risk having to drive the entire event winding up in cars they're having the worst time in.

I wondered where you had disappeared Kling. Was really close tonight a lot of the times, you were missed. :)
Aaah , I hate myself for missing this:banghead:
you know , I have to get up at 4am , then get ready for work , drive 45min to to work , then work till 2.30pm , appr. 3.20pm at home .
then I take a shower and usualy I do a 2hour racing nap !
racing from 8pm till 10pm .
After that I'm so under adrenaline that I cant sleep , so I stay awake till 1am = 3hours of sleep nearly every day !
but.... It's totaly worth it :gtpflag:

about the saturday results ,

congrats to @LongbowX , wasn't even close
