I tried to find a replacement for the Le Mans Quattro to make a Gallardo, but I couldn't find any. But I think I'll make a Porsche Turbo out of the CTR 2. :)

@ Interceptor: thanks for the oil-change. i've driven the 911 GT3 RS yesterday and i have to say i love this car!! damn nice handling, nice speed......oh and i used the Yokohama 018 wheels, i like them more even if they don't look like the real ones.

i have no idea for the gallardo. a shelby mustang would be interesting too *gg* about the Porsche Turbo, i think the CTR2 has more power, as Ruf uses Porsches for a base to make even faster cars out of them, so i think it will be difficult....

Edit: i've done some research: the 2000 Porsche Turbo had 415HP and the 2007 one will have 480HP, so less than the CTR2....

Ok, I just tried to create a F430 out of the Spirra ... here are the settings. I'd appreciate it if you guys could test them out, tell me what you think, suggest improvements etc:

  • Yokohama 005 Wheeels
  • Oil Change
  • NA Tuning Stage 3
  • Port Polish
  • Semi-racing exhaust
  • Semi-racing suspension (Springs: 5.8/6.8; Height: 130/130; leave the rest as is)
  • Racing Brakes
  • Soft Sports tires
  • +200 middle weirght
  • Sports Flywheel
  • Full Customize Limited slip set at 5/5/5
  • Full customize transmission with the following gears: 3.29/2.16/1.61/1.27/1.03/.82 and Final: 3.417

but the le mans IS a gallardo.,.
its just a turbo gallardo... think of it as a tuned gallardo... duh...
Agreed, but that's still too far away to make a good Gallardo copy in my eyes.

True, but power actually is not our problem. The 2007 Turbo raises the boost from 14.5 to 17.4 psi when the driver activates sport mode, which pretty much gives us the CTR2s figures. The problem is that there are only very few parts for this car in GT4, so you can't really tweak it much. I'm just working on a setup to see if I can get it where I want it anyway.

Nice work man! 👍

I wasn't able to try it yet, but I'll give it a shot as soon as possible.

Sure, power is nice. But if the task is to copy an existing street car, how can we take a car with more power and just say "okay, it's tuned"? Especially in this case, where the Le Mans Quattro is supercharged, whereas a Gallardo has to be NA, it just doesn't fit.

Are we getting professional now?

you're right about the boost in the 2007er Porsche Turbo, but i don't think it'll be easy to switch the '96 CTR2 into a '07 Porsche Turbo....but i'm always prepared for suprises, so please don't be shy! *gg*

can someone help me tune a car so it handles like a ferrari 360..
SUROKIA
hey my thread i make the rules..
You asked for help. Okay, you make the rules. If you want a Le mans Gallardo, why don't you go and make yourself one. I'm doing this in my spare time, and I'm not your employee who's supposed to do your work.

i think we should concentrate on the Ruf - Porsche-thing, the Gallardo is dead man...... *gg* no hard feelings against you Surokia!

lol GTFO the le mans IS a gallardo. Not like, IS.. LOl seriously do some research
The Le Mans is based on the Gallardo, but it's still a different car. Now, can we drop this please and get back to the Turbo?

I've made everything I could with the CTR2, but I'm not happy with the results at all. Like I said before, there are very few elements to tweak, and I've tried everything I can to make this thing handle. Unfortunately, there's no controller to shift more power from the front to the back available, so this thing understeers all along. I'll post my setup here later anyway.

SUROKIA, please try not to forget common civility here. The fact that you made the thread doesn't mean you command those who take the time to post in it, and the Interceptor has made a great many useful posts here - more posts, in fact, than yourself, so if you must disagree with him then try to do so reasonably and with suitable backup to your views. Just stating my thoughts.

Now trying to leave that issue behind...
slo-car, I too have been eking more power out of my Spirra, I tried it out with the Interceptor's '360 Modena' settings with NA Stage 3 added, still with my modified 150kg central ballast, and it's absolutely nuts, and oversteer crazy! It has an obsession with going sideways, does the Spirra, and I love it for it

I'll try out these '430' settings soon, though, and see if they can make the car a little more effective than mine! :)

Owned in your own thread :D , true though, The Interceptor made some great set-ups, by the way, I just tried the Spirra, and Gosh!! is that car sweet or what? Thanks Guys!! 👍

Ciao....

you can buy it at the "korean" car hall, from the ProtoMotors Dealer...... costs 80k $.......i wish you a lot of fun, you'll have it!!

I think I'll have a pretty 'interesting' time getting a fast lap in with the Interceptor's 360M Spirra running on N3s! That'll be great fun :) I'll give it a go, with my 150kg ballast. I'll let you's know 👍
