The GR010 because of the GR GT Cup in June. That car is to be used on June 5.

June 5GR010 HYBRIDCircuit de la Sarthe (France)
Well remembered. So, it must be this car, plus two cars. And maybe with the layout of Catalunya without chicane.

I didn’t suspect we’d get the GR010 this year and there was also the GR GT3 Concept reveal(January 2022). So, that car is also a possibility, six months later. Anyway, PD do surprises well. Should be a good pack next month.

More threads about people being disappointed.
tbh I seen a lot of people predicting quite solidly the update. I doubt that people are that disappointed when comparing that to old times of mega update predictions within first 2 months of release lol

Jay Leno Tank Car.

That's the update.

We know the Toyota GR010 is needed for an event on June 5th, so that'll definitely show up.
Wasn't there a Genesis VGT shown a few months back? That'd be a decent educated guess at a second car.
Although we've just had 2 Subarus added, I wouldn't be surprised if the 00s WRX and Evo IX from GT6 return soon. If not them, at least something that was premium in GT6 should be coming back.

Beyond that, if there's a track I'd quite like something missing from the Super GT or Super Formula series like Motegi, Okayama, or Sugo, with Motegi most likely as it was in previous games. If not a real circuit, Apricot Hill or Grand Valley are reasonable guesses. If it's simply a layout, I'm sure they can find some way to concoct a new Tokyo or Maggiore layout, or something without a chicane from various real circuits.

Option to flog your cars, this one is probably wishful thinking but being able to hot lap against a previous fast lap ghost on time trial.
Some more menu books would be fab also.

My predictions:

Tracks:

Grand Valley Speedway
Midfield Raceway
Special Stage Route 5
Special Stage Route 11
Tokyo Route 246
Seattle
Complex String
Nurburgring

Other:

PSVR2 support
PC port announcement
An FMV cut scene showing the real Sarah driving a Formular 1 car around Nordschliefe and setting a time of 6:49

I predict more Toyota Cars, and maybe another version of a current track, now a full new track.
There’s a lot of potential for additional Toyota models, even if you exclude virtually guaranteed cars like the GR010 or the GR Corolla. That said, when it comes to potential Gr.1 racers, I’d personally add the TS010 over the 88C-V, as the former marks the start of Toyota’s more remarkable prototype series. It’d feel much more “complete” to have the TS010 alongside the TS030, TS050, GR010, and the likely TS020.

As for tracks, I predict Apricot Hill, Suzuka West, and a new layout for Colorado Springs. I also would predict that we’ll eventually get at least three new layouts for Tokyo Expressway: West, North, and Outer.

I would also not be surprised if the Vazirani Shul eventually appeared.

All this in mind, I feel that there are some notable automakers that desperately need more cars, such as Hyundai, Jaguar, and Alfa Romeo. Infiniti could use at least a G35, G37, and a Q60S.

I honestly want all classic PD tracks (Apricot Hill, etc). A way to sell cars to make $$$ back (including daily gift cars, don't cheap out on us). I think it would also be awesome to put in place a way to take a regular street car and upgrade it to GR. 4 or GR. 3. There has to be a mechanic in the game to allow this. That being said, the only thing I think will actually come eventually, is the selling of cars.

Tidgney mentioned in a recent stream he’s aware of three tracks that are ready to go for GT7. There was no mention if they’re new to the series. But it sounded like they where.

I suspect PD are looking to theme DLC when possible, IE Le Mans content, Super GT etc.

That last item is the most likely of all of those.

I highly doubt PD will bring us completely new tracks, real life tracks.
There was some speculation here about Road Atlanta but I don't know how believable that was.

More believable tracks to come are those made by them (Apricot Hill & Co). No licenses required, no extra funds, no scanning...

Why not? They added Monza, Autopolis, Barcelona, Circuit de La Sarthe, Spa, Fuji, Goodwood, Red Bull Ring, Tsukuba and Laguna Seca in GT Sport updates.

Of those Autopolis, Barcelona and Goodwood were all totally new.

Would have been a scandal to not have those tracks, considering we paid full price for GT Sport.
By the way most of those tracks aren't new to GT. They were remastered and updated. And they were added to GT Sport looking at the long term development (=GT7). We all know GTS is the base "platform" of GT7.

Answer me honestly: do you think PD will add 4 or 5 completely new real life tracks? (from here to the end life of GT7)

Yes, I don't see why not. Maybe three at least. If they're raking it in with the microtransactions then they can afford to. Plus for all we know the development cost for them was already budgeted in the initial development, they just weren't ready for launch. So adding them in later is of no extra cost. I imagine the same was true of a lot of the GTS tracks.

I think "Nurburgring" is even more likely when you think about it. The chance of the Nurburgring being in the game after the next update should be pretty high.
I can be pretty sure it won't be added though.

Just like the tweet about GT7 being in GT7. /Mindblown

Daihatsu Move '95
Dude i'd be so happy, I miss driving the MOVE in GT games.

though in all serious-ness, my guess for the next update is:
  • New Course Layout... maybe a smaller one of an existing course AND HOPEFULLY NOT A layout of a boring track with a 'longer pit lane' (Yes I know im going to hell for this one)
  • New Menubook - Kei Cars
  • a few new cars - hopefully including the Autozam AZ-1, and GR 010 as others have stated would make sense to release in May
  • New Music rallies - hopefully involving more of the Daiki Kasho selection
  • Seasonal events (if not in May, hopefully in the near future)
  • bug fixes
  • "Updated the Localisation Files"

Apricot Hill Raceway and/or Suzuka West Course

Toyota GR010 Hybrid '21 is by far the most likely pick right now because of the upcoming event. Perhaps they will also add the Toyota GT-ONE (TS020) '99 with it as a classic counterpart.

Toyota GR Corolla '22 because it has to happen at some point I guess.

Another new car I think is very likely is the new Acura/Honda NSX Type S '22 and maybe the returning Acura NSX '91/Honda NSX '90 as an original non-Type R NSX to come alongside the new model.

I'm also feeling good about the Mazda Autozam AZ-1 '92 after we just got another 90s Kei-Car with the Cappuccino. Hopefully with it comes the Lightweight K Cup or a similar event to specifically use these cars in.

Last but not least I'll be optimistic and say that the Lexus LFA '10 will finally return by popular demand.

As for tracks, Apricot Hill seems to me like the next completely new track they'll add based on it being teased in one of the "Find your line" trailers if I remember correctly.

Alternatively there might just be another new layout again. I always found it weird that all of the games after GT4 featured the GP and East layouts of Suzuka but the Suzuka West Course never returned, so that would probably be my guess.
