May update predictions

I highly doubt PD will bring us completely new tracks, real life tracks.
There was some speculation here about Road Atlanta but I don't know how believable that was.

More believable tracks to come are those made by them (Apricot Hill & Co). No licenses required, no extra funds, no scanning...
I think they will release more real world circuits, but I agree with you about them focusing on fictional tracks due to the cost.

A new roulette animation.
Boom. That's all we need.

Tidgney mentioned in a recent stream he’s aware of three tracks that are ready to go for GT7. There was no mention if they’re new to the series. But it sounded like they where.

I suspect PD are looking to theme DLC when possible, IE Le Mans content, Super GT etc.
Three tracks? His information ties in with rumors from dataminers that they found data from Grand Valley, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta in the latest GT Sport update.

Even if so, they'll probably add one track per update. Two tracks per update is rare - it only happened once, GT Sport version 1.11 (Monza and new layouts for Maggiore).

This is a prediction, not a wishlist.

For May:

Motegi

Toyota GR010
Toyota GR Corolla
Toyota Prius GT300 (Gr.3)

For June:

Apricot Hill

some sort of VGT car
New BMW GT3 car
an older Japanese or European road car

For July:

Grand Valley

current-gen Corvette
Camaro Gr.4 Car
Mustang Mach-E 1400, and maybe a racing Tesla to go against it

June/July could be switched depending on what date the updates fall on. (4th of July at Grand Valley event with new American cars would be fun for some)

My Prediction:

PD listen to the fans and see how bad the feedback is...

PD then decide that they will stop sitting on 6 months worth of completed content - destined to be drip fed over this time - and then release it all at once, thus making GT7 a complete game.

6 Brand new tracks, 3 new layouts, 50 + cars.

Real, long term fixes to the economy won't be released as they never intended to "fix" this as it was working to design. IE: most events will be missions and only give 1x payout and the ability to sell cars will still not be available. Roulette wheel will still give out a pointless 2,000Cr 99% of time and a bunch of content will still be stuck behind RNG and be time gated.

... I know the top part won't happen but the last paragraph is likely to be true :(

GT Sport gave us one big update every month (at least in the first year). Also, we know the GR010 is used in an June Event, I think it is safe to say it's coming in May to give players time to know the car and do the best time in the event.

So my Prediction : 1 track and 6 cars

Road Atlanta + 2 track layouts

Lexus LFA
Toyota GR010
Toyota GT One Race car
Mazda Autozam AZ-1
BMW 507
Ferrari 599

The bolded was what I was gonna say, I feel like the TS020 and the GR010 will be in the same update, hopefully i'm right.

^Even though that image is fake I personally do believe that the GT1-98 will be added at some point in GT7 as it will help the empty Gr.2 class + PD have a good relationship with Porsche it seems.

As far as May, I think it will be:

Toyota GR Corolla
Toyota GR010
Toyota GT-ONE TS020 1999
Toyota GT-ONE Roadcar

Events:
A few supercar races.
Gr.2 GT500 Races
900PP WTC Championship

Tracks:
No new tracks

I do wonder if we'll get some type of pattern.
First update/DLC are cars from Japan. Next, could be a mix of USA, Germany, Italy. USA, UK, France. UK, Italy, Korea. And so on.

Anyway, with a few classic BMWs in the current list, I can see the M1 this month. Maybe the 2002 Turbo. Other than those, a new to the franchise BMW model.

There might be some sort of pattern, but I don't think we will see the updates to be too "theme" oriented. Otherwise you risk that you release for example 4 Hypercars or 4 GT3 cars and there are a lot of people that don't actually care about that class so a lot of people will not actually get anything new and complain.

They will probably try to play it save and get a few different cars by a single manufacturer or if they introduce a completely new class like the current GT500s, add a few road cars to it, so that everyone can have something to enjoy with each update., just like they did with GT Sport.

Not think8ng about a theme. Can’t remember if Famine had recorded the country of origin of cars for each update. Of course, one can go back and just look at what country cars are in each past update. However, it seemed like certain country brands appeared each update. That game saw 170 cars or so, over the four years.
One thing I’d suspect, it’s possible to see more cars than that, over the next four years, IF the cars are real and not having to be made up by PD( converting FF cars to MR for example).

I hope that once the bigger issues in GT7 are settled, I'll be able to welcome Mine's back to the dealership sometime in the future.

Except for the well-known performance problems in lobbies, I have no concrete expectations for May.
