The game urgently needs more circuits. This monthly and uncertainty trickle is very frustrating. The ideal would be that each month be guaranteed the addition of a complete circuit, with all its layout variations. Wasting an entire month just to add a chicane, a weather change, a different layout, or change the finish line is the height of pettiness. When we talk about PD, everything is very uncertain.

Maybe some hypercars. Because in the special build played by Jimmy Fallon on a segment of the Tonight Show, there were two event types teased such as "Gr. 1 Series" and "Hyper Car Racing Days".

Either Grand Valley Speedway or Road Atlanta.
Definitely agreed regarding the GR010. As for hypercars, I wonder if that event will only be open to cars with the actual “hypercar” tag? As far as I can recall, all the cars with that tag are invite-exclusive. Perhaps they’ll introduce more cars with this tag, not that I fully understand what makes a car a “hypercar” in the eyes of PD. My guess is that it’s a production model that’s almost entirely only for track-day use, but without stuff like DRS. That could explain why the McLaren P1 GTR and Pagani Zonda R don’t have this tag; the former has DRS, and the latter is considered both a concept car and a race car.

So judging from all that, I bet that if they added the Ferrari FXX from GT6, that would similarly get the hypercar tag. I would also imagine that another candidate would be the McLaren Senna - possibly either the “basic” version, or the GTR version.

While I would never argue against getting more circuits, I think the game's biggest problem is that we don't get to use the ones we already have. Kyoto for example is a circuit I used loads in GT Sport, but we literally only have one race for Japanese 4WD cars - that's a pretty small pool of my garage to choose from if I want to race there, and it's not even included in the Asian or World championships.

There should be enough races available in campaign mode that I should be able to tune up any car I want and have plenty of options of what to do with it. Why can't I race a MR Ferrari at Kyoto? Or Mount Panorama? Or St Croix (if it doesn't have a turbo)?

Lake Maggiore is one of my favourite circuits, but my sensibly-tuned-road-car options are Ferrari or Porsche - I can't race even race my Alfa or Maserati there unless I want to bimble around with the superminis in the Sunday Cup.

They'd have been much better off having a load of FF, FR, MR type races open to cars from anywhere, then having region-specific races for cars of any layout, rather than limiting choice so drastically for each of the far-too-few races. PD's choices with this game, as always, are quite baffling.

I think they will keep it minimal as they've got to release updates for a long time. If they release a lot of stuff in 1 shot, they'll fall short of introducing new stuff to the game in the long run.
GT Sport didn’t hold back releasing content during its first year, but then slowed down toward the latter half of its second year and almost nothing during its third year of support. In other words, the content wasn’t distributed in even quantities throughout its lifespan.

Maybe GT7 will approach it differently, but I personally wouldn’t recommend holding back readied content just to prolong some drip-feed strategy.

When looking at the Toyota Gazoo Cup schedule, Rounds 3 and 7 are the only ones that do not specify the circuit. It is likely that this month a new circuit will be added. Considering that the cup is Japanese, that most rounds are from Japanese circuits, would it be optimistic on my part to suspect that Sugo or Motegi are coming?

I think that "PD Fictional" circuit is more possible.

Nürburgring Nordschleif + GP, with first corners of GP circuit, instead of the N24 "shortcut" 🤪
N24 shortcut forever :gtpflag:

.. I get rid of the mercedes arena .... :D:lol::sly:

I will add the touristenfahren version with the bridge to bridge chrono!

Surely Apricot Hill is the most obviously candidate for the first new track? I think it's accepted that it was one of the circuits being teased pre-launch. Why tease it if they had something else lined up first?
Yes but if they were going to do a update on Friday then they would of told us by now

I didn't say it would be coming this week or this month, simply that as the only other track that's actually been teased why wouldn't we be expecting anything else first?

Round 3 is the GR010 at Lemans. It's only round 7 that has the track as TBC.

Kyoto Yamagiwa-Kiwami is one of my favorite tracks in the game and Kyoto has a total of 1 event in World Circuits: the early game Japanese 4WD Challenge.

It’s only middle of the month though. Take it easy. Ramp up the worrywartness of it all around May 23. Then, start sharpening y‘alls pitchforks.
