I'm wondering about what track they are adding to the game, and based on the alternance REAL-ORIGINAL the logic says :

- le mans, three lemans cars added in order to be ready for june (other DLC cars "787B, SPEED8, 88CV, R390 etc etc )
- Indianapolis, we' are in the week of the INDY500
- MONACO, it was in GT from GT3 to GT6 and , as for INDY, we are having the GP .

Plus, new races/events for the GT League and the le mans or Indy track shuold be the occasion to introduce the "like the wind" races .

What stops it from being a C11?

As I mentioned earlier, the C9 has a single centre front intake above the Mercedes badge, while the C11 has its intakes right next to the headlights on either side. The windshield banner is another point; the Le Mans winning C9 had a matte black banner while the C11's banner always had the same shade of metallic silver as the rest of the car.

That’s obviously not a Kia Stinger, the nose is far lower than a Stinger.

Thank god we aren’t getting that ghastly car...
Ghastly? LOL.So you are fine with BRZ even though we already have one drift version and one road version.(86) Stinger is the best Kia ever done, it definitely looks perfect. This game lacks of fast sedans so they are needed instead of same thing over and over again.(same goes for bottom left clio).Be open minded, just a little bit.

They have all the assets for the C9 from GT6‘s Premium, why bother making something else?

"Cos it's sexy!" lol. I just think the C11 looks amazingly good and wouldn't be too hard to make since they've done the C9, although I have to admit from some angles the C9 also looks very pretty, like in this photo (I'm not too fond of the tiny side panels on the rear wing, they make the car seem fragile):

Thanks mate, it definitely it makes sense now. Plus the rear engine cover isn't as large on the C11 and the sides of the body are a bit more curvy, not as straight and rough as the C9's. I was fooled a bit by that dark patch next to the right headlight and had it mistaken for the intakes next to it like on the C11 (just like you mentioned).

I’ve had this discussion on here before, I’m not getting into it again. If people want the Kia then that’s cool, but I don’t.

If you had that discussion before, why you keep spamming the same thing over and over again? Peculiar... Take off your blinders ^^. This game needs variety not same cars with different badges.

Btw if you are actually a car guy, you should be pleased as they are bringing a car (I'm pretty sure that it's not a Stinger GT though) which is somehow designed to be fast in it's class no matter what badge it has on the hood. The way you are talking smells like being a hateboy.(Yeah couldnt find a word for the opposite of fanboy.)

I don't see why hyundai shouldn't be allowed in motorsports, they're doing pretty good in WRC and are making some serious hot hatches but I guess we're still stuck in the 90s mentality that korea can't make good cars. Guess it's an extension of muh real motorsports but to car manufacturers now.

Exactly...they're first at the moment overall in WRC and they pretty much dominate for the moment in TCR. The I30N is one of the greatest hot hatch available. Genesis brand is already beating everyone in their category except BMW and Mercedes in the US. My 28k Hyundai is faster, more reliable and has a better build quality than my 65k BMW. I used to hate Hyundai, but if you hate them in 2018 you're pretty much ignorant.

What, we're talking Hyundai? Solid excuse to mention our recent review of the 2019 Veloster Turbo...

It'd make a great addition to the current N200 class (and the upcoming N — or its euro cousin the i30 — would work for N300). Hyundai's already got a Gr.4, but PD could build a front-drive option out of it too.

I suppose Japanese cars faced the same sort of attitudes 30 years ago. But just as it happened in those cases, Hyundai's really put in work, and its cars are definitely class-competitive these days.

Totally agree. I'd love to see the Veloster both in GrN and Gr4

Hitting on Hyundai is like when people in the UK would crap on Skoda in the 90's. Nowadays Skoda are a brand known for bring out fairly good cars. The Yeti, Superb, Fabia and Kodiaq. Albeit similar to the other manufacturers in VW group.

One thing about the Renault's, I remember being told PD must have modelled the Panterais because of the Suggestion Votes in this forum.
I don't see current day Renaults anywhere near the top. Only French car majority votes, are the Clio Williams and Peugeot PP.

Maybe Renault just want their cars in GT. That's fine. I used to own a Megane RS. Thing is, I can't see PD offering two Renaults for this update.

My two cents on the forthcoming DLC:

1 Mitsubishi Lan Evo VI GSR T.M. Edition ’00 (GT6 Premium)
- Premiums of the IV GSR ’96 and IX GSR ’05 exist as well so could be either one of these. Fingers crossed for the VI TME, probably one of the most famous iterations of the Lan Evo.

2 Nissan R92CP Race Car ’92 (GT4 Standard)
- Interesting choice as this has only been available as a standard since GT4. Curious to see how it’s been remastered, though I'm sure it'll look amazing (anyone remember the R92 inspired livery for the ill-fated GT-R LM Nismo?). What I'm not sure of is why PDI thought it necessary to bring it back? Surely the Mazda 787B would have been a more popular choice given it's Le Man winning performance? Even better would have been a Le Mans dominating Porsche 956/962. Not that I mind, it’s a good looking vehicle either way and a series classic.

The R92CP is a Championship winning car though, sure it didn't win Le Mans but it was a dominating car in its time (and an earlier version of it basically ran away with the Rolex 24 from start to finish in 1992).

6 Renault Sport Megane & 7 Renault Sport Clio
- Don't we already have the '11 Megane RS and '15 Clio RS. Odd choices.

The Megane there is the Trophy V6:

The Clio could be a different model, maybe the 220 trophy.

8 Aston? Possibly the new Vantage. No idea to be honest. Maybe a DB9?

Seems too short to be an Aston (not even the Vantage).

Has it struck anyone else that the bottom-centre car is a Kia Stinger?

Not even close.

I'm sick and tired of these old cars being remade for GTSport. Start from scratch and give us something new

So the Super GT cars, The Aston Martin DB11 and the Toyota GR Supra Racing Concept weren't new?
